  • geckos use insanley tiny setae on their toes to create van der Waals force to hold them onto things, they estimate that if all of the surface area of a tokay geckos toes were in contact with a surface it could hold around 90 pounds off of a ceiling.

  • read the video description. Real Geckos have hair like suction cups called setae. This Robot has synthetically made setae.
