Where did you get that info from? a F-15 cannot and will not land on a carrier. Simple answer the landing gear is not designed for it and would collapse on impact from the required forces to land on a carrier like a F/A-18. The F-15 has a tail hook but that is purely designed for emergency landings at a typical military airport that can run cable accross the runway to slow the plane down quickly if needed (IE: landing gear failure with a belly landing etc)

Holy... I just s**t myself. At 1:02 is MY JET!!! I am a Crew Chief on Tail Number 2000. And the LN designates the base the jet is at! Also spotted a lot of other jets I know. Any jet with LN and a blue or red stripe on the vertical stab is from my base. Oh, and the C model at 1:42 is from here too. It has a black stripe with thin gold stripe above and below. Nice max takeoff btw.

@Xxcanes F-18 is better cuz it has a better aesa radar way better maneuverability it can land on a carrier and its just an all around newer fighter.

Also the F-15 tailhook isnt really meant for the sort of violent arrest it would encounter on a carrier.
