I have to learn this for a university exam. I was browsing youtube for it and I found your video. Great playing, I hope I will be able to play it like that!
@Xaederaz I recommend a qualified classical guitar instructor and hurry slowly. Enjoy the pleasure of mastering the small steps on the way. These gavottes you'll find behind some hill tops on the road! Good luck!

Beautiful. I actually came looking for Gøran Søllcher performances as I have heard a flute/guitar CD he did in the past with Marc Grauwels and liked his playing very much.
I can't fault your playing at all. I usually prefer my Bach with a more steady tempo (think Glenn Gould) but your performance is lovely.
words can't explain how much i love your sound. Sir, The way you play this piece is just unreal! My goal is to play like you, nice clear sound, good control and LOTS of emotion.
Thank you kindly for writing such an inspiring comment!! You are 10 years ahead of me and 1he first years without a living classical guitar techer exept reading everything I could com across concerning classical guitar tecknique!
I started to play the classical guitar when I was 26.You are 8 years ahead of me. I strongly recommend a qualified c.g. instructor to avoid many pitfalls. To my mind, there are no shortcuts, hurry slowly and enjoy the pleasure of mastering the small steps. It has been a wonderful experience all the way.
@torisand thanks for replying ;) i will look for a good teacher, and i just wanna say: this music you play is so wonderfull and it makes me feel relax :) thanks for sharing
This language is Spanish. I have notions of that. He/she says, more or less, this: "I like the colour you take of each note. The suave fluid that I can hear. Good Interpretation." I hope it is useful to you. Congrats. Francisco
No problem. I can play with sheet music too but its abit slower way to me because I'm selftaught.:) I'd be very nice if i could get sheets from you.. btw, your interpretation is wonderful because you play the whole piece on your own way! Never heard it can be played on that way.:)
Thank you for commenting! I strongly recommend you to learn standard music notation, i's a wonderful language and opens the door to a new, fasinating world!!
Nice sound, hva bruker du för gitarr, Jei har en 30 år gammel George Bohlin og en ny Manuel Rodriguez som jei mest bruker da jei ikke vil få slitasje på Bohlin gitarren da jei reiser, syns Manuelen er grei
I have almost all commercially available performances of Bach's UA'd Cello suites and I really didn't like this music played by the instruments other than Cello or V da gammba itself, until I listened to yours. Do you sell your performance on a CD or any other media? Can I buy one?
Thank you! I play a classical guitar, spruce soundboard. (Raya Pardo, Granada 1998) I don't think, however, you had noticed a great difference (on this media, YT) if I played these Gavottes on a cheaper instrument.
Have sheets of this music ?
