Jane Russell will always be remembered for her statuesque beauty, sassy charm, and fine movie performances. She was an incredibly strong woman, but also very real and down to earth. I think that honesty comes across, and its interesting to know she was very spiritual and not at all the 'party girl' type.

So sad to hear this news today. I just bought Gentlemen Prefer Blonds the other day & loved it. First time I ever saw it. I love Marilyn but I have to say that Jane was the true star in that movie. And I have to say that Gentlemen all over the world prefer prefer brunettes today. What a gorgeous woman! She was a real dame.

Our Hollywood 'startlets' can't compare to these women. They did everything and didn't use stunt doubles. The sad thing is none of our leading ladies have half the class these women did. Jane was amazing! Still is.
