if you have some light tubes, you need a sound control. On ebay you must search soundstuerung or sound control.

if you have some fans you need a fans control. that can you althoug by on ebay

This shouldn't be too hard, Just take the LED's from your Fan and connect the LED's to a sound activated CCFL Kit..

those arent neons -___- those are regular LED fans.

just hook them up to your sound activated neon controller thingy. but the fans will only spin when theres music. unless you switch the module to ON (will not react to music). i did this once, was pretty cool, but it got annoying after a while.

Making the fan LED's dance to the music is NOT a good idea. First, the fans performance is reduced, and second,, Cold cathodes are SO much cooler xP

fan runs at low power usage but needs more to light up the LED

that is one possible way of doing it, but there always are more efficient ways. I'm not saying this is what the poster did, but it is a possibility.
