OK. Just wanted to find out since the V636 is similar. Oh, wait - at around 0:45, I could even see the label "FORD V636 DIESEL BY CATERPILLAR."

This may be a 1979 model, but the grille with the blue Ford oval logo instead of the F-O-R-D block lettering indicate some sort of rebuild after 1985.

this is a 1979. the hood we had originally was the F-O-R-D but that one was in bad shape so we bought the new hood that is on it now.

ur transmission is not a 10 speed, it is a 5 speed with a 2 speed axle. it does provide 10 gears, but it not 10 speed

Yep they make the best single axle truck ever but parts are starting to become limited for this truck. We almost bought a peterbilt 330 with 375 HP and a 10 speed transmission
