Everyone that says this is not realistic is wrong, I used this program and got my PPL in half the time and ended up as an officer and F-35 pilot in the USMC HOORAH
okay. if he knew anything about the f18 he would know that the would crank the right engine first because it controls everything important about the aircraft, namely the brakes...which when you are stopped, i would assume you would want and the a/c (most important) and FSX isn't realistic at all. basically if u wanna learn how to fly, go to ur nearest airport and learn from the experts not a program
@brchuckerel LOL its a video dude by someone to young to fly. and flight sims are great. hence why all pilots use them pre flights etc... I am a pilot and I fly on fsx also. All procedures are the same, gps, navs etc.. All the same. Only difference is the feeling you don't have when your flying a real aircraft. Don't come on someones hobbie and fun and talk them down. Douche.
Its really beautiful. Unfortunately the biggest flaw is, that its made for "peace flying" simulator. Its just 1/3 of fun, to fly this aircraft without possibility to engage any threats. It would be great to have this engine in battle simulator.
Yes the physics are very acurate. The game was designed to be as acurate as possible in every degree, including weather, engine and arodynamics. You can even fly into thermals or updrafts off the side of mountains
@zoulation It's overall a good sim, the acceleration f-18 is fairly accurate but the add on VRS Superbug F-18E is extremely accurate as far as flight model and systems. You can check it out at VRS and there are lots of videos on youtube.

Does anybody know how to change the active frequency in this F18?

Your tires looked abit flat at 0:46, better fill'em up again....with nitrogen...not air, if it was with air, your tires are screwed.
