Every individual's different in the way they express their love, so we need to understand our mothers and their way of effection. If she's mentally ill or has a disease in her heart, then we pray that Allaah cures her from her illness or the sickness in her heart that causes her to mistreat her children, but we NEVER disrespect our mothers.
