  • Is it alright if we just eat fruits or granola bars for breakfast, lunch, and dinner??

  • @Romantic2408 Fruit is great, but you'll also need protien,m and even a little bit of healthy fat to be well-balanced. Granola bars vary, some are healthy and some are not. read the labels and make sure the first few ingredients area real food and not sugar, chemicals or saturated fats. Nuts are great to eat, so if a granola bar has nuts you will get more bang for your buck. Hope that helps.

  • @MegaKristen91 You can actually eat bigger meals if you eat the right thing. For instance, a head of lettuce is much bigger than large fries, but the lettuces has only a fraction of the calories.

  • roundlady? how 'bout thinlady? You're beautiful and I love your video, short, sweet and to the point. I have some dip ideas for you- soak sunflower seeds for about 4 hours- let dry on a plate, put in blender, add a bunch of scallions, carrots, red pepper and pure tihini paste, some salt or shoyu...it's really yummy, full of protein and nutrients

    ---I also like to blend celery, garlic, olive oil and walnuts...spread this on bread with or without lettuce, tomato... yum or use as dip

  • does it make a difference to take of the skin of the cucumber or does it not?i was wondering cause i always eat cucumbers but i keep the skin on.

  • @ItsEricaJean Hi - I used to do this thing where I would peel the skin in stripes and then cut the cucumber so that it had a cool design, so that way you go no skin and some skin. My only reason to peel the whole thing is if it is not organic I don't want to eat any extra pesticides or chemicals. I hope that helps.

  • these are such good ideas! my problem is washing and chopping everything up and preparing it :/ it all looks so good tho, i'm gonna take the time to prepare my snacks better. convenience is a killer for me

  • @PlasmaSpeedo Try picking a time, like a Sunday evening and cut up food ahead of time and store in airtight containers. If you make it a habit you will barely notice the time it takes.

  • @roundlady right, I never use to cut ahead of time because you loose some nutrients, but now with little kids and a busy schedule, I do it all the time. It's better than eating packaged food, and it's sitll healthy! I say to myselt all the time "IT'S GOOD ENOUGH!" and the great thing is, there's always a healthy snack in the firdge to just grab

  • @cupcakemya Pickles are really cucumbers and they are healthy...so eat them up...not too many or you might get an upset stomach. :)

  • thank you!! im have recently gained some weight due to medical problems(my doctor put me on steriods, which made me eat non-stop, which made me gain some weight) and i have decided that i want to be able to fit into my old jeans. i have been keeping a food diary and exercising. and now i will have some good ideas for healthy snacks!! i appreciate it!! thank you!! <3

  • don't keep making excuses for the weight gain, its very easy to keep blaming circumstances, take acttion! you have made a step in the right direction with the food diary and exercise, good work, You will get there, dont give up !!
