  • I own this exact case and I've been very curious about a few things. 1) Do you still have this case/ set up? 2) How did you get the top fan in there? 3) How did you do the mesh front? 4) Did you change anything from this setup? Looking forward to a response :)

  • @WARguy16 - I'm benji's bro and I was there when he modded this case. He cut out the hole for the fan on top and he modded the front with mesh that he sanded down to give a nice finish. He added cold cathode bulbs and a fan controller, as well as a aftermarket Intel-I CPU fan. Very Nice indeed.

  • @Vigormaster Thank You Vigormaster, I've been super curious all this time. It does look stunning. Please let me know if there is another update :)

  • You have a nice computer :)

  • i am curious about your cpu temp??

  • Nice case! what are the temps for idle and load for the Q9550 at 3.5 ghz?

  • Thanks for the comment.

The most I've overclocked my Q9450 to is 3.2GHz. I monitor my temps through the BIOS, so I don't know if they are totally correct, but I get about 40 degrees celsius at idle and about 50 degrees celsius at load.

  • Thanks. My PSU is great. The Ultra X3 PSUs are some of the cleanest looking on the market.

  • Thanks for the reply, I noticed you removed the spec. decal on the side of the PSU. Those are so ugly, there must be a better way for manufactures to list the specs.

I'm thinking about inverting mine, I think I should be able to get enough air flow with the fan facing up, The TT Armor Case has perforated mesh right above the PSU. That or remove those ugly decals. Hell with the warranty.

    Cheers

    LazyMan

  • Yea, I realIy like the look of the black chrome finish of the PSU. I don't think removing the sticker voids the warranty. Obviously, you don't want to take off the warrenty seal tape. The sticker comes off clean and in good condition. I just stuck it on the top of the PSU, so I can always put it back. I do what I must for the aesthetics of the build. Hell, I considered removing the stickers off my EVGA video cards to make them all black, I that might be too extreme.

  • Ben, your computer and mine should get married and have a child. hahaha

  • Taahr, you're just angry cuz your mom still uses that kick-start vibrator and it keeps you up all night.

    Oh and you are.....Retaahrded!

  • HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
