@alvinjosuechica I changed my mind about training when I read what they do to the animals in captivity. Things like artificial insemiation, tooth drilling, training dolphins to swallow hoses to keep hydrated. I love dolphins too much to stand by and let people exploit them for entertainment with great emotional, mental, and physical pain. Riding on dolphins and training them to jump through hoops is patronizing. It makes them appear lower, and us appear to be dominant. Wheres the respect?

I love dolphins... I have seen them once when I was on a holiday at the Mediterranean. I was on a boat trip and suddenly we were surrounded by dolphins. Amazing to see really!!

Dolphins tend to consistently solve puzzles in science experiments faster than chimps, which says a lot, as described in "Cetacean Societies." They also obviously communicate really well amongst their own species... Maybe ten times faster than we do amongst ourselves.
