Yeah, Zero Is a BA, and since the Sigma virus was orginally the Zero Virus, in the later X games (X5 X6 and so on) When you get attacked by the zero virus as zero you gain life..comes in handy for sure.
And at Bass' ending of the Power Fighters arcade game, Dr. Wily is talking to Bass about the super robot he's making and show's Bass a picture of it. Guess who it was? Here's a hint: Bass said it was "a girly looking robot with long hair".
His arm was punched off. This was happen before Sigma goes maverick and when Zero was awakned. Zero killed the whole Gamma team and then the hunters sended Sigma to stop Zero. Zero was almost victorious. But that W on Zero's helmet means the Zero Virus was trying to stop Zero form playing with Sigma and killed him without agruing... When SIgma punched in the crystal was Sigma infected with the Zero virus, but the virus changed in his body to the Sigma virus. Simply enough, right?
so wait... what game is this vid bvased on... and when u mean that the virus changed to sigma virus, does that mean that is the reason sigma's bad now?
I clicked on this video because the English voice-acting is fun to listen to. Also, this is pretty much Capcom trying to be DragonBall Z.

Ijust realized...cal me slow, but I realized just now that the battle theme is a slowed down and darker version of Zero's theme.
And IMO, the voices in this scene are...tolerable. They're not as bad some of the others. *whatamifightingfor*
