What you said doesn't make sense... I'm guessing you're saying that she needs a better partner. If that's the case, then you're wrong. Her partner is stronger than she is in every single way. I'd consider myself lucky if I was her as his previous partner was better.
@AceyBlade Yes, you guess, she needs a partner!! she is very very good and he in 1.20 of chacha stretch legs.....one time XD i only see this video of this couple and in THIS VIDEO she's 2000 times better than he!
@AceyBlade 1 THE Contrary Body Movement that is what this guy doesn't have!! 2 if you mean cha cha are 8 : 1basic Latin back step 2replace 3to side slightly fwd 4closes to RF (sudden sharp action) 5Twisting L hip 6 directly go fwd 6hip is diagonally fwd 7side slightly back & chasse action!!! For sudden, sharp, quick dynamic, practice twisting upper body and switching knee separately, then combining them will create bigger action.
@AceyBlade 3 I don’t understand want you want…exemple in basic is corta jaca of samba 4 wisk is SLOW A SLOW value ¾ ¼ 1 …5because you raise the center ;) now I want to know in this video when the boy stretch his legs because he has always have it bent and why you do this stupid joke are we at the school for an exame?? I don’t belive so tell me what are you’re prefer dancer and what is for you the definition of art!!
I'm surprised. Even with your near-trolling attitude you seem to have a bit of knowledge in technique.
Even for the fifth you managed to produce a good answer despite it being a rigged question. The correct answer for that one is that samba promenade runs have hover because of the need to change direction.
And that quiz is far from a stupid joke. 90% of YT commenters can't get past the first two questions. As for Evgeniy not having CBM. He does. Not as much as the likes of Surkov or Skufca or Vesvoco, but it is there. Ironicly I don't see you mentioning Vincenzo considering his sides are literally dead and he can't produce anything but 2-dimensional shapes because of lack of CBM.
Could you rephrase this question? In its current form it's not comprehensible. I'm guessing which dancer I prefer, but I'm not entirely sure. If that is, then do you mean from this couple or in general?
@AceyBlade thx my teacher :P YES what are your favourite dancer??? and what's you're definition of art??? answer me as you want!! ;) PS: you're right vincenzo haven't a good CBM but compensates this with a very good use of projections....Stop talking about VINCE ;)
Leunis, Zagoruychenko, Surkov, Törökgyörgy, Watson, Langella, Zanibellato in no particular order.
I'll give you a short answer then: art in dancesport is a combination of the elements of: coreography, musicality and characterisation of dance which form the base for expression which is further strengthened by personality.
The thing is, he only has energy and projection. That is honestly everything he has. And in the judging criteria speed is not mentioned at all.
@AceyBlade SO He has something already, there are dancer above him that don't have Energy and projection TOO ;) .Yes your definition is very precise about latin dance...if you know M.Barishnikov he said that The real essence of the Art, is to have pleasur in giving pleasur...and i belive that guys like vince are capable to giving pleasur with his charisma but this guy NO...(it's my thinking) :)
At the same time there are dancers behind him that have better technique, musicality and expression. But let's just nevermind that because of energy and projection.
@AceyBlade pay attention for ME not in general!! i saw this video a lot of time and she's amazing he's one of the many...he doesn't give me emotion but i repeat is my vision!! About V.M. there are a lot of dancer behind him with a better technique so this mean that sometimes reward more energy, charisma and projection than technique and Look at the ultimate world champion AS Zoran plohl, Silde and now earlier Zaitsev are they a great technique??? all three have always the legs bent
Evgeniy Imrekov - Elizaveta Divak from Russia. They turned professional a year or two back. Before that they've been in the IDSF European final and German Open final.
I love this couple. I see a mini Joanna coming on!!! Yay. And no I like their beginning/ Its fierce. I would develop that and start my cha cha with that development. No lies this couple is insane. Hmmm has this couple now moved to WDC or what???
Ateur and professional couples yourll see why this starting would get them no where!! They may have had good results but these aren't major competitions !
They were the top amateur couples when they still competed in IDSF. They were, amongst other achievements, in the German Open and IDSF European latin final. Or are you going to tell me those are not major competitions?
I've probably skimmed through more video material than you ranging anywhere from the very top of professionals to varying Russian competition rounds. Trust me, I _know_ what the very top couples are doing. The beginning is not bad. It is unique.
This couple is already professional and have achieved remarkable reasults in amateur category even with their "awful starting". What you don't seem to get is that this couple has a rather unique style and the starting fits their story they are portraying. I'm so glad they have maintained this style that is theirs instead of pidgeon holing themselves into the cookie cutter.
honestly...this is worth leaving a second comment!..lol..I've watched this video so many times now!..;) it's amazing how they combine lines with a fluid movement. It's got to be mentioned that her body shape definitely accentuates her movements. She's got a more than normal arched lower back, which really highlights her hip actions and upper body movements and adds to creating a very signature syle of her own. I'm completely mesmerized by her dancing. stunning!
I love this couple.I think they are amazing actually. what I like about them is they are very unique on the dance floor. I perticlarly like her because she's got speed and also flexibility at the sme time. A very unique style. I think this couple will go far in time to come.
Yes, indeed. We were just talking about a judge who marked a couple no.1 in a ranking competition whereas other judges marked them 4-6. He based his decision on saying that he needs to see basic figures in basic hold. That means he's outdated by choise, which is just the type of judge I hate. Like this couple, how many basic figures do they have? A few continous locks, mambo walks, a rolling of the arm, a rounday, a single swivel and a single check in the end. The rest is their unique style.
The girl is really amazing she must to change her dancer but!!!

Humor me and take this quiz:
1) What is CBM?
2) Which figure in the CCC generates the most CBM?

3) Which dance aside from Paso Doble has heel lead figures?
4) What is the beat value of a Samba whisk?
5) Why is there a hover action in the Samba promenade runs?
