As I Nets fan and a New Jersey native, I know that the Knicks suck and will always suck no matter how much cap space they have.
The Reasons:
1. Why would LeBron want to lose in NY?
2. The Management sucks.
3. The current roster is terrible.
4. Any star who does sign with NY in the summer of 2010 will end up being a recreation of Stephon Marbury.

Lemme Note this to.. The Knicks didn't even care about the draft.. They were too focused on Stephen Curry that after he got drafted they didn't much care and draft Jordan Hill... The Knicks didn't want to resign Lee or Robinson they just did so that they wont be clowns.. They have washed up players and guys we never heard of. Donnie walsh is a genius. They will get Bosh and keep Lee. That will be a good tandem. Then, they'll just need a key guard..possibly McGrady??? I mean, hes injury prone but he can put up points. New york doesn't need a big name, they just need a few key players and better chemistry. Unfortunately, Nate the Great will have to go, although we all love him, he doesn't fit into the PG position nor their offense. They need a facilitator and a couple defenders. If the knicks can average over 100 ppg again (or almost that), then all they need is to play defense. They had NO, i mean, zero, zilch, nada, defense last year. It was embarrassing to watch.

Why wouldn't superstars come to New York? Right now, they're probably an 8 seed team with not ONE superstar. Add in 2? What happens super-star team. There's also a huge market in New York, with 20 million people, so that's obviously a plus for an egocentric player like LeBron and if LeBron comes and theres cap space for another player, then for sure Bosh, Wade or someone else would want to come to New York to win an easy championship.

I will say this though. Any idiot can see the game James is playing. He's dangling the possibility he will play with another team (not necessarily NY) so he will get the best players in a Cavs uniform. Because of the threat he might leave it puts extra pressure on ownership, or so he thinks. It's not needed though and I don't agree with it. I think he knows at this point ownership is committed to winning and the game will be over soon. In the mean time he's playing them for a fool.
