@mkdevo I love and really appreciate all the videos you put up and this one gives me chills every time. I gotta ask though, when was the last time you just raged out, sans camera? Or do you just tape the whole time for those of us unlucky enough to not be able to make it?
I was not there but when i heard what they just played i went nuts on my couch getting atext for the opener. I thought he was a liar. An the crowd WOW talk about a happy bunch of people. I mean seriously what could make true phans happeier? A 3 day reunion at the mother ship. well played shows for the expected rust which wasnt nearly as bad as I expected and opened with f'in fluff!
@gratefuldeadhead9 It was unreal. I remember the crowd was so loud ... then barely hearing the opening riff, and then just the audience for the next minute or so... I have pics I took of this show framed on my wall... Was about .. ~10 rows back, slightly page side... it was incredible. definitely unreal. m Energy was superb. my brother was standing right next to me with wearing a fluffhead t-shirt... we had previously warned him how much of a long shot that was... but how sweet it would be
As a younger fan who wasn't really financially able to go to any shows before the break up, i never thought i'd be able to see the band that had come to become my favorite.Lo and Behold, my friend and I drive the long haul from PA to Hampton for the first night. To think, my first show, being 4 rows back, stage right, amazing view, amazing experence. Look at me now, by no means a "tour vet" but i manage to go to one show every tour at least. Just seeing this video makes me get misty-eyed.
Fantastic job! Love your work, and to be part of your progression as an Artist/Phan. I can't tell you how much I appreciate your videos. I'm a single Dad, and don't get to many shows now, so to be able to "be there" without "being there" has been amazing for my soul! So a big heartfelt THANKS and keep'em coming! Going to Merriweather both nights! Woop! Peace.
Thank you so much. I was holding like four rows back stage right in GA. Best view of Trey, huge smile. I was so happy to see all my phriends and just share a moment in phishtory with my best friend.
I still can't believe this actually happened. I'm just glad nobody filmed the stands behind Page, or else the world would see me, barely holding myself up by the railing, crying like a fucking baby, unable to keep it together as I got to have the first Fluffhead in almost a decade as my first live Phish song
@mkdevo, man you really outdid yourself this time! definitely captured those moments in this tune so well - the belting "fluffhead" part where you zoom out and get that whole arena in the picture, that's what that moment was about - what we all had wanted for so long, and your camera work is just terrific. thank you thank you thank you thank you.
Havnt listened to phish in about 5 years after moving to the uk, last time i heard them was a live in brooklyn dvd i bought...and now they are better than ever what a video thank you!
Now that this is in HD, I can officially hear my brain explode when the first chord hits. One of the great moments my brother and I have ever shared. Thanks for this remaster. Awesome!
I love how the loud cheering comes to a relative pause as the first few notes play....it takes everyone a moment to register the magnitude of what it happening. It's a moment of disbelief....and then the place explodes even louder than before.
My first live Phish experience, as I discovered the band in 2005. I can't express enough gratitude for capturing it so well.

Such an amazing song to bust out after not being played in 7+ years. With such precision as well.
I'll be posting videos from the front row of both Tahoe shows so stay tuned of that on my channel!!!!!!!
