in canada at school we play indoor cricket but the rules are far more different considering we have almost the same rules to outdoor except you cant hit the ball above this line or your out, and there are no LBW's but thats about it.
indoor cricket is not really a spectator sport, but is amazing to play at a quality level, the pressure is fantastic. The fact that everyone on the team must contribute because they all bat and bowl the same amount makes it unique and something special
It's a Burley Super Soft. When Brand New it is probably the same hardness as an outdoor ball but lighter. It does get softer after about 4 overs though.
I play indoor cicket and love it but it is not a game to commentate because it is such a fast paced moving game or have a big crowd in such a small area cause they make to much noise and its very distracting.
and scott johnson that they are showing in the second pair, has been a long time captain of australia and victoria, doesnt play anymore but he was an probably still is a gun
Hi Mr Victoria, Scott played at this years World Cup so he is not all retired just yet!! I had the honour of Captaining the only team to beat Australia at this years World Cup so hope to see hom playing in 2 years time. As for the monies, just get a sponsor... people will always help... start early and make sure YOU do what YOU can, too many people moan about the monies but don't do anything to raise it! Keep well
i play indoor for victoria, and i have played with and against some of these aussie guys and let me just say, they a quality, a pleasure to watch and play, and one of the reasons indoor cricket isnt as big is because most people dont take it seriously, i find it effects my outdoor game and makes me play worse in outdoor, and its also a very expensive game to play, it costs $1500 to play in a proper state tournament and unless you have sponsors most people cant afford it
why the hell isnt indoor cricket more well known?i really do think this should be another huge part of crickets popularity but for some reason indoor cricket is struggling...plz cricket lovers take indoor cricke to the next level
This used to be a bit different when I used to play back in the mid nineties. We used to wear pads and be able to smoke on the sideline!!
Used to love this game though :)

where is the umpire?
hazardasd 4 years ago
the umpire sits in a box above the batsman, he is also responsible for the scoreboard.
vrz07 3 years ago
he sits behind the net (behind the keeper) on a platform, like a tennis umpire
