  • dude , you are way to cool to live up there you need to move to the south

  • Respectable citizens carry firearms, Criminals carry weapons... ;)

  • is this a christmas party? sounds like you need one of those 2 ton jacks to jack up the house, did you guys have to pour cement or just use some cement blocks?

  • Yeah, just look at the Australian gun laws.

  • Gun laws are so easy in Michigan.. I live in New York City and it`s such a pain in the ass to just get a permit for a rifle.. You have to go to the precinct and lay out 700 bucks and they finger print you and take pictures of all 4 sides of your face.. In some cases if they get a strange vibe from you they won`t even give you the permit unless you`ve been evaluated by a shrink

  • We have concealed here in Texas -- wish we had open here in Texas.

  • Comment removed

  • stange, everyone wants the police to stop messing with them, to not be bothered by cops. but some folks dont get the idea that police officers specialize in a very unpleasant thing called ENFORCEMENT. perfect example is your situation, unless you were openly displaying your weapon permit noone would know that you had one, no crystal ball, no esp, so the only way to find out if you were legit was to question you.

    pretty straightforward approach

  • why cant you carry in a car

  • A perfect example of why open carry is just a bad idea. Unless you call them, any encounter with a police officer is not going to be one that any person looks forward to. Discretion is not only the better part of valor, it's a great way not to get hassled.

  • At least you didn't get slapped with a DC charge like we get here when we try to open carry. We just got a new law allowing concealed carry by permit now, but still have open carry.

  • Looks like girls in Michigan are f--in tankers. God damn.

  • @TryforceZelda03

well michigan is the most obese state in the nation...

  • Snooooooow!

  • As for the house issue, I recommend the clevelandmarko channel.

  • Jacking a house... You also need budget in your plans for new doors, windows and plaster. It will inevitably crack somewhere.

  • @Lepiratepoulpe I recommend the clevelandmarko channel.

  • i dont think the bad guys think that far - they dont think about these issues

  • Police officiers need to go to law school so the a learn the law instead of just patroling and thinking that everybody with a gun a bad guy.

  • @hstone39 No, they just need to google "gun laws" + state.

  • @hstone39 I agree with you! Know the law or find another profession. It's that simple. We wouldn't let a doctor operate on us if they were not experts in their field. Same applies to police officers. Hard to enforce something when you are ignorant.

  • Thank you :)

  • REV 18

  • Why did you NOT record the confrontation with the officer?

  • Tastefully done for not having a video camera in the face of the cop while being confrontational and spouting the law. There are several Open Carry vids on YT that make me embarrassed to be a gun owner.

  • Doesn't "open carry" mean the pistol has to be exposed at all times and not concealed? You say in the video that you must have moved a certain way that pulled up on your shirt or something that caused the gun to be displayed, but shouldn't the gun be prominently displayed like on your hip or something.

  • @christo930 If you don't have a CPL/CCW and your state has open carry, you must keep the gun in plain view. If you do have one, then you can open and conceal carry.

  • I live in a city where the power structure is mostly black, but the blacks get fucked with more than the whites. Do you think you were bothered because of your being black and carrying a gun? After all, the only reason a young black man would walk down the street with a gun, video taping himself, is to be a one man crime streak, maybe even a cop killer, probably has been stealing and dealing drugs since he was 10 etc! I remember asking you B4 if the cops ever fucked with you, I knew they would.

  • @christo930 Just so it's perfectly clear, I was being sarcastic. I always wondered when you would post the video that the police bothered you while you were out on your walks, especially with the backpack and I didn't even know you carried a gun on your hip.

  • @christo930 The blacks that get shot usually don't have any guns. The reason why people aren't afraid to shoot blacks is because too many of us are more eager to shoot each other than to protect our own people. It's the culture. Some of us are smart, but we have an epidemic of stupidity that's killing our people.

  • @DEMCAD I meant that I thought the police themselves would bother you. I have lived/worked in/schooled in mixed areas my whole life and the one thing that always surprised me is how teenage blacks would tease black students who did well, and I don't mean the nerds and geeks, even football players would get teased and told they were "being white" if they tried too hard in class. This was done so openly, in front of the other kids, teachers, whoever happened to be around. It's gotten worse since.

  • @DEMCAD The streets looked pretty clear, do you think they stopped you out of boredom?

  • @DEMCAD I'm black myself...and what you say is the truth...

  • always carry a fake wallet with monopoly money around to give to the nice armed robber lol

  • @ragedmaximus What you do is keep a five dollar bill in one of your pockets and take the bill out and throw it to the ground in one direction, then run in the other direction. Pulling a gun MIGHT solve the situation and have the guy run away, OR it could escalate and you could end up in prison for a long fucking time. I know someone this happened to, he had a full concealed carry permit but the prosecution thought he over-reacted and didn't attempt to escape. Self defense law is very complicated

  • WV, is an open carry state, I have a ccw also. I prefer to let it show on the street. I feel it's deterence. If someone's going to attack or rob you, and they see the gun, they're going to go after the next guy that's not armed. If I conceal it, I'd have to take more risks, I'd have to draw on someone if attacked. In that situation I have the disadvantage, they're already doing what they're doing, and I'd have to react to it. I think deterence is the best way to go.

  • lol. Kid's reaction. Ah well, at least they have good influences.

  • "When I held that gun in my hand, I felt a surge of power... like God must feel when he's holding a gun" ~ Homer

  • sad cops are all morons. dont even know basic rights

  • Wow, your gun will do so much good separated from its ammo...why do people even let these laws get passed?

  • I'm glad to see another person treating open carry for what it is. Normal. I open carry every day, and people sometimes react very strongly either for or against it. Most of the time people ignore it.

  • Nice to see a law abiding LEGAL CITIZEN taking a cop to school.

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you and your family Demcad!

  • Why didn't you keep the camera running and show the cop questioning you? I guess he told you what to do and you folded up like a cheap lawn chair, regardless of your rights huh? Please DEMCAD, tell me it isn't so.....

  • @STARFIRESOLAR I'm not going to show an officer's face until he does something wrong. Otherwise, he may want to do undercover work and it would not be good to broadcast his face over the Internet.

  • @DEMCAD Yep, you folded up like a cheap lawn chair, just like I said. If he was doing something wrong it's for damn sure that he wouldn't want you to show his face. What do you mean "Otherwise, he may want to do undercover work and it would not be good to broadcast his face over the Internet."? That doesn't make any sence at all man. Just admit that you didn't want to test your rights because you didn't want him to arrest you. That we'll believe.

  • cool videos ty for explaining concealed and open carry in Michigan seems pretty nice to get snow on christmas

  • Was the police officer respectful?

  • @penguinistas Yeah.

  • @DEMCAD Glad to hear it and thank you for taking the time to respond.

  • don't be like Plexico

  • Thats kinda funny cause I mentioned I was surprised you didn't get stopped the other day when you were filming...I posted a comment about it....lol. Figures.

  • thats cool that the one guy watched ur videos- also kinda scary at the same time lol

  • Good Video DECAD! Merry Xmas and remember to NOT carry on a schools property. Especially now that they know you carry. Keep the videos coming.

  • I think if a cop sees someone, anyone, walking around at night, holding something in their hands and talking to themselves, it's their duty to stop the person and see what's going on.

  • @Codex1 not really their duty so much as their perogative

  • @Codex1 Actually, I think the cops should be raiding crack houses before questioning random people.

  • @DEMCAD Well their bosses bring the drugs into the country.

  • @DEMCAD What if...What if...What if...

  • @Codex1 i think you should be smacked in the face for thinking.

  • Each day, it becomes more an more apparent that the actual police mandate is not to protect citizens, but, rather, it is to enforce government control.

  • Its a sad day when the cops don't know the law's they are suppose to enforce.

  • FUCK FA POLICE NIGGUH

  • trying gert tha black man caught up.

  • LOL @ the kids reacting to no Cable TV. They are already hooked!

  • BTW, Reg, you can rent a hydraulic jack (20 ton should be adequate) for a few dollars a day. You can buy them for $20. Handy for the survival work shop anyway.

I once jacked up a 50,000 sq. foot feed grainery in Idaho (with the feed in it!!) with only a 50 ton hydraulic jack and new rr ties for posts etc. You can level anything (except a politician) with the right jack.

  • It would be nice if it was clearer who the "bad guys" are, wouldn't it?

  • @DEMCAD - 1:38 - Although I guess that law is meant to cut down on drive-by's? At the same time, a person who carries for self-protection seems less vulnerable on foot versus in your vehicle, since you can carry on foot with your ammo loaded.

    Anywho, happy holidays, sir! :-)

  • That's the problem with this country. The cops dont know the laws. If a citizen has to explain the laws to a cop, the cop should lose his badge.

  • @rburton34

To be fair, there's way too many laws for an officer to even know....

I am LEO with a 4 year degree in CJ...and I still don't know most of the more detailed and perverse laws..

I think this lies in the hands of over zealous beaurocrats writing all kinds of nonsensical nonsense into the law. Naturally, officers should indeed know the laws they are asked to enforce, but OC/CC is actually not at all common, unfortunately, therefor rookies and n00bz tend to not really know...

  • @SeppLainer Yeah, there's probably more laws than buttholes in this country. However, every officer has to know firearm law, especially if they're carrying one. You can't be walking around as a cop and not know the basics. Knowing whether your state has open carry and CCW is very essential.

  • @DEMCAD

Very true, but I was aiming at rburton's point, and shifting blame to stupid "officials" creating way too many stupid unconstitutional, and unenforceable laws...

We'd do great to repeal half the nonsense on the books and just "K.I.S.S."

  • @rburton34 That is a function of the complexity of the laws and there are so many of them and many disagree with each other. I am the LAST person on earth to defend a cop, especially one who thinks he has the right to stop a citizen who is walking down the street minding his own business, but they aren't expected to be lawyers. I DO think the whole stop was illegal.

  • But isn't there a risk that they will change the laws some time soon? Especially when the economy gets even worse and they seek to implement Martial Law with significantly greater impact?

  • Merry Christmas means "Merry Death to Christ" look it up! We have had out first opt out and will not be celebrating anymore. I mean to each is own but know what you're celebrating. Research the "Christmas" holiday entirely and you'll be floored, I know I was, LOL! Hey Demcad, you got a nice family :-)

  • seems to me the occupy cops wont attack anyone that open carries but will pepper spray girls and azer women tha are unarmed seems to me the cops are cowards and wont atack a law bidding citizen that has a weapon for personal protection against an out of control thug in a costume that believes its ok to attack so long as they are wearing a costume.

  • Merry Christmas

  • why do you guys say "happy holidays" have you never said merry Christmas ????

  • Merry Christmas D

  • Some people want too walk around late at night with a camera.... LOL

  • Funny carrying a gun in Flint MI? I'm told if you don't the cops will lend you there's if your any where near Mary St lol.... /sarcasm off.

  • 30% of cops are insane steroid freaks with guns. Its just a gang with a uniform and you arent supposed to have a weapon because they say so.

  • I read stories about people either being robbed with their own gun, or robbed with their gun still in the Holster, or even shoot themselves. How do ensure that doesn't happen?, The assailant always has the advantage.

  • you can carry openly or concealed on or about your person...depending on the state...it's happened to me too..

  • In NY you may only posses a Gun and handle it with the lights out, under a blanket in a room with no windows at night with all the doors locked and a written statement in triplicate to the mayor, Governor and Chief of police stating that you will only be examining the weapon and will never actually load ammo into the magazine or cycle rounds through the chamber. Furthermore, all trigger mechanisms have to be removed and a member of the national guard has to observe you the whole time.

  • @D3mang3l lol And they say I should move! lol I'm playing with you. Hey NY folks!

  • @D3mang3l I wonder what my ex husband in NYC is doing with my gun and that weird permit he got for full auto back a couple of decades ago. Come to think of it, I am not sure I want to know.

  • I wish it would snow where I live. I'm in Atlanta and it's kind of warm here. Sometimes it's so warm here we don't make snow men, we make mud men.

  • its a good feeling to take a walk in the snow when no-ones around, its like you get all that space to yourself.and just for a minute or two, the whole world is yours.

  • @jancrowb I used to live in Philadelphia as a child last decade and I agree, it's so wonderful, especially at night when you're walking home knowing it's safe, warm, and comfortable.

  • @CosmicGrounds everyone should try it, at least once.

  • Ayo reg... Merry Christmas and happy New year.

  • Mayor Bloomberg wants only the Bad Guys to have the weapons in New York City.

  • Fresh air?? You been looking up at the skies lately.... I just been seeing chem trails being sprayed.... not the air I want to be breathing in the mitten!

  • you can open carry in nevada too

  • it looks quiet there. no one around

  • @DEMCAD Have you considered a shoulder holster?

  • @Mrewink5 Yes. But I'll stick with my side holster for now.

  • So many times policemen don't even know the laws they are supposed to enforce. It's very irritating, when you think about it they are judge and jury on the spot, and they don't even know the rules. sux.

  • seasons greetings and thanks for the sweet videos for the year 2011...

  • yeah the snow makes the ground not echo and people not out and about makes it even more peaceful..

  • Trying to lift the house with a jack?? Is that possible? I thought that was only in cartoons Lol

  • Merry Christmas Demcad. Hope all is well with you and yours. Really glad that on both occasions you've been questioned by the police, that they have been decent people. There's still a lot of good officers out there. Doubly cool that the first officer watched your vids.

  • I wish we could carry any way in Hawai'i. Happy Holidays Reginald.

  • you can rent house jacks i think at home depot

  • Try to open carry in California. Its a big deal out here!!

  • fun

  • What did you have to go through to get your concealer's permit? I have a .38 revolver that I keep in my car because I was robbed at knife point and I would like to keep my gun on my person. Just curious. Thanks. As always, enjoyed the vid. Thumbs up.

  • @straty01 No, this is a man exercising his right to bear arms.

  • @DEMCAD Great Video DEMCAD. Merry christmas

  • @DEMCAD do you think that it was racial profiling

  • @TheSaboteur97 No, I don't.

  • @DEMCAD

Wow....... a lot of your viewers seem to be anti gun nuts :-( You did the right thing DEMCAD, you weren't hurting anyone and you were minding your own business!

  • @DEMCAD In a more evolved society the right to privacy, the law of one or peace/love/unity would replace this fear mentality. It's interesting that all of our other rights are being stripped away and yet guns are ok? Love conquers fear, it takes courage to act from your heart. Don't become what you hate, become what you want the world to be.

  • @straty01 way worse to be honest!!!! now crawl back to your obama campaign you fascist!

  • @straty01 You sir have been brainwashed!

  • @straty01 why does having a gun on your hip make you a cowboy? people carried guns in holsters for hundreds of years before that.

  • @straty01 Open carry is way more comfortable, in Illinois we don't have right to carry laws, I just go ahead and carry coat pocket or IWB holster, and then just don't run into cops.

  • @straty01 just because you cant handle it doesn't mean others cant.

  • @straty01 No law on Earth can keep criminals from having guns.

  • @straty01 the wild west had very very little crime. In fact the most famous shootout (ok corral) only lasted 2 minutes with 3 dead. An Armed society is a polite society.

A return to the "wild west" would be a great imporvement.

  • @straty01 Why open carry? Because the purpose of carrying a weapon is to prevent yourself from becoming the victim of a crime. If you open carry then everyone can see that you have a weapon and you're probably not an easy target. I think conceal carry is crazy to do, why license a right that is protected by the constitution? Plus, if your weapon is hidden in your pants its much harder to get to and takes longer to draw.

  • @straty01 the wild west? nahh but in some areas its a lot more dangerous than that and we have the right to defend our own lives!

  • I find it interesting to note, that where open carry and easy concealed carry is the norm in a State, the Police are more polite and Professional and where armed Citizens are NOT the Norm, the Cops are more agressive and unprofessional bullies. Is there a corelation, or is it a coincidence? Let me know people's views on this.

  • demcad you should get with that hottie sitting on the far right of the couch. I would. ;]. Happy holidays big guy.

  • @kendawg44 Ew..It's a family event.

  • Thankyou DEMCAD--hope you had a Merry Christmas, I did despite everything going on and I trust you did too--the simple pleasures are awsome.

  • It's understandable cops aren't use to seeing people exercise their right to defend themselves. "Shouldnt u be at home drinking fluoride and playing guitar queer-o?"

  • ★★★★★

  • Demcad this video is a good example of knowing what the local areas gun laws are at this time. I live in new york please don't carry a gun here just ask Plaxico Burress.

  • Yes, the officer should know the weapon laws verbatim. However, for anyone to suggest they should know all the laws is preposterous. Even judges have to consult the law books frequently. There are TOO many laws and too many elements to the crime to know them all by heart. I am an 18 year veteren officer and sometimes even I had to check on this or that law. I am a human not a robot or machine. Great video as always Demcad

  • @TheCOMMONSENSEMEDIA True. There's too many laws to learn them all. Interesting enough, they say that ignorance of the law is NOT a defense.

  • @DEMCAD True. There's too many laws to possibly know them all & ignorance of the law is NOT a defense. What a catch 22! Hope you had a merry Christmas. It looks like you guys got snow!

  • @DEMCAD Great reply D! Hats off to ya!

  • @TheCOMMONSENSEMEDIA ironic name considering u have none.

  • @TheCOMMONSENSEMEDIA Indeed too many laws. Its time to eliminate most and give people more freedom.

  • @silversurfers7 it's the police job to question people walking by themselves, minding their own business?

"Not saying you're going to blow someone away, but why carry and get yourself attention from a cop, doesn't make sense."

Why should I be afraid to exercise my second amendment right when murderous lowlifes are racking up the highest homicide rate in the country?

  • Part 2….That chunk of metal in your hand is gonna save your ass! No, your gun is your protection, your cop, your savior!

  • @DEMCAD ..I see your point, I'm not a N-American citizen so i don't know much about US gun laws, I believe it's a good thing to carry a firearm, i hate guns by the way, but hay, when you're in the middle of nowhere, or in a city alley and some nutcase is pointing a gun at your head and wants your money or just plain wants’ to kill you for fun, no cop around you're dead! How many times we've been alone? Almost every day in some places, where is the cop? Part 2 below…

  • @silversurfers7 As I mentioned in this video no law on Earth will keep criminals from getting guns. Criminals have always had guns, have them now and will always have them. Lets give law abiding citizens a chance to defend themselves against these criminals. Police cannot be everywhere at once.

  • @silversurfers7 So if you were a cop you would knowingly harass a citizen? I can see maybe being stopped if I was holding a gun and pointing it at people, but having a pistol holstered is not a threat and a cop should know better. Criminals don't holster their weapons and open carry patriots do.

  • Merry Christmas DEMCAD.

Glad the stop by the officer wasn't too much of a hassle, hopefully you won't have to educate many more.

  • When they say: "If you get a Concealed Carry License, then you can't open carry anymore", is like saying if you get a drivers license, you can't walk anymore. Makes no sense. :-)

  • Lucky you got snow, Seattle had a rain/wind storm.

  • @kalif151byccrew Yeah we did!

  • Christmas? This is why i love to spend it ALONE! Peace, quiet, and ya don't have to eat peoples uwful food just to be polite. Having a real family is a nightmare.

  • Nick are you drinking a Hams beer at 2:54

  • wow can you open carry in Detroit

  • wow can you open carry in Detroit

  • wow can you open carry in Detroit

  • Merry Christmas Reg. Glad to hear you are carrying when you go out.

  • Be careful out there bro .... thank god you're dealing with reasonable cops .... thank god you're level headed and calm, this could have turned ugly quick

  • stopped by a polliceman on christmas eve,....hmm..maybe ya should have included him in your video,...its snowin' in Flint, beautiful city indeed,...hmm..it just dawned on me, the Flint city streets, 'burbs, buildings, look alot like the comic versions Hank Ketcham drew in his Dennis the Menace comics,...MERRY CHRISTMAS REG!! = )

  • So it was a white Christmas for you DEMCAD and your family and friends?

  • When I was residing in Brooklyn & The Bronx,I used to walk the streets in the winter myself--love it.As you said nice & quiet, peaceful & the air is so refreshing.I absolutely hate warm weather & all of the freaks that like it.I wish the temperature would not go above 55F all year round & it gets dark at 4:30 pm everyday--I just hate those long & warm days that just drag on & on.The people that always bitch & moan about the "cold" weather should shut up & move to a more southerly location.

  • @East180thStreetYard So someone is a freak for liking warm weather? You sound like a freak.

  • @Overfl00d Yeah, and that includes you asshole--a chicken-shit that has to hide inside because he's too afraid of "cold" weather. Why don't you take your very loud music, criminal tendencies, head way down south & burn, baby, burn ! Go lay on the beach, get skin cancer & just fuckin' die bitch !--one less freak invading my privacy, stopping me in my tracks on the street & asking me idiotic questions like "Isn't it a nice evening ?" when it's 65F & the humidity is 100 fuckin' percent.

  • I am still a firm believer that We shouldn't be stopped WHATSOEVER for having a firearm. One could argue that "maybe the police officer thought you fit a description of a criminal", but We all know (well, should know) that would leave it up to the officer to lie or not, about "fitting a description", and it would still undermine the Constitution. I'm all for "criminals" not having the means to continue what they do, but i would never support a law that strips them of INALIENABLE rights.

  • you can rent a 25 ton jack at a tool rental place for like $35-50

  • Merry Christmas DEMCAD

  • Demcad u need to start wearing a 3 corner hat so people know u is a patriot!

  • Demcad are you serious about this? I only ask because its not on your video (The cop stopping you) Maybe its different in the USA but if a cop stopped me and didnt know the law he was enforcing i would go straight to the police station he is based at and ask why this officer is out on patrol when he doesnt even know the laws of the land? I as because its quite alarming the thought of cops out there that done even know the laws they are able to enforce????

  • demcad all things aside merry christmas and a hap
