This is a teaching demonstration video. The steps are done slowly to show how the technique is done. If done at combat speed it
can hurt or disable the opponent. A strike to the throat will stun you enough to make you lose your balance.
Also, this is not the only technique that you are going to use on your opponent. If properly trained by a qualified instructor, you will have many combinations of techniques to use against your opponent.
this is good qin na. almost NONE of qin na works without first striking the opponent. It stun them and momentarily confuses them.
Strikes to the neck work fabulously well. My favorite is the eyes and groin. Not to injure them but to merely forestall them until I can get a hold and subdue.

this is fucking stupid, your not going to be fast enough to do that with a trained fighter, plus i'd do a arm bar when on the ground to finish him off.
hahahah smart boy , well no shit the reason why ninjitsu and kungfu are not allowed becuase every shot is deadily and it is to dangerous. but you can try this move on me and see if it will work you faggert
@LieCheatSteal4 actually you are quite correct , but it isn't the speed of the block that is a problem , it is the reinforcement behind the block . it is not practical to block someone's forearm with the palm of your hand and in most cases , you'll miss and the punch will land right on you . any kind of inside block in my opinion should be a high guard block where the arm absorbs the strike and not the hand . in real life trying to block like that you might break your fingers , or just miss.
@LieCheatSteal4 it is also very difficult to roll a chop to the neck into an upward palm strike , considering if you chop someone in the side of the neck , most likely it will cause a reaction due to the nerves in the neck and the impact itself . overall i give this technique a rating of 1-10 about a 0 .
@LieCheatSteal4 u watch too many mma. no doubt bjj is effective but this style is used to finish of the attackers fast while bjj is using techniques against strength.
this type of training is very effective in a self defence situation, for example if you dont want to seriosly hurt the person insted you can just control the situation
well im not sure about this training but i seen you thing on why the guy step into a right punch with his right foot it is because it adds power to the hit by using your body's momentum and help with the punch. hope i have helped
this teacher could be good, I have no way of actually knowing from this vid, but as a former practioner of style that focused on the opponet steps right punches right with his other hand at his side then becomes a sack of potatoes. This will not train you to fight or protect yourself. Very few people his size are going to have any luck judo choping that big dude in the neck then pushing his head to make him fall down, where he just lays with no struggle for you to put him in the arm bar.
first off he didnt judo chop since judo doesnt use chops and second off one quick knife hand attact to the throat would take anyone out of commision i dont care who u are and this is just a demo oh and yeah have u ever been hit in the throat with a knife hand attact well i have by a guy smaller then him and im a big guy
he doesn't just push his head down...That the guys center of gravity he is in a squared stance it isn't even a push really well it's an upward push mainly not like a street style shove.. it also works if you keep your hands under his nose placing their nose imbetween your thumb and the rest of your fingers push up and move forward a little bit no matter how heavy or strong you are you'll fall and ya it's no judo chop sorry but your an idiot
Okay I was being nice and asking a simple question. What is the benefit of training against an opponet who steps right and punches right? First of all nothing that was done would throw an opponent of balance yes even a "knife hand" to the coratid artery done coretly which
(sorry attacked by my cat) done correctly would make you drop immediately downward hence not throwing your hands out to the side. Thus only the first part, you know with the judo chop, could be praticed against a punch, which is great to train back forth bothsides, now done incorrectly say striking with your feet straight in front of your opponent (exposing your groin and not allow you to use your hip for power) ie see above, anyways out of space peace

@LieCheatSteal4 It isn't for ring fighting.... Real street fighting and ring fighting are actually different.

this is not even allowed in ring fighting stupid LieCheatSteal4 dumbshit
that's why you barely see a kung fu, ninjutsu fighter in a ring match, it would be just... unfair
