ironicaly. samus was on her best in metroid manga. sure she was young in that and was not the ice queen we know her but she eventualy became stronger and won her fears and became the awsome charecter that we knew. in other m samus does not feel like the same samus that we know and love.

metroid other m is the only black sheep of the serice. i hope they learn story telling and voice acting before they make the next one. i allso hope that samus gets her cool and awsome charecter back. just bechose someone does not talk does not make them empty. samus needs mystery around her, and she needs to be better made in next game. the voice in brawl was cool. metroid is not death. they just had a rough start.

Wow. If I bought video games based on commercials I would have only looked at the one for DS. The Metroid Prime commercial was long and painful. How could such incredible games have such terrible commercials?

Metroids are native to SR388, "one didn't escape" you idiot, and Metroid II is not a "larger world" then Metroid, it's actually a lot smaller.

Metroid i my favorite video game series. I LOVE it's story also. Sure it has problems here or there but that's cause it's canon story started on the nes. If Halo started on the nes and kept it's story canon from there, it'd have A LOT of plot holes as well

i like all of the metroid games (except pinball I don't even consider that a true metroid game) but i think they stopped trying to make good commercials after metroid prime 1. The mp3 one is THE WORST! Stupid ass music in the backround does NOT suit a metroid game at all. "We would like to play." Thats great and all but you never play the game in the whole commercial... (not you the japanese guys). good vid though never saw the first 2 metroid commercials before.

The Metroid Prime Trilogy for Gamecube/Wii is one of the best FPS I've ever played in my life! They're the best 3 games of the Metroid series! It's Nintendo's answer to Halo. I'll let you decide which trilogy is better.

I love Metroid but I believe that Halo is way more better! Halo has got Online and better story than Metroid! So Metroid has no online play for its fans and not a story that makes Fans go crazy on MP3. Also Halo is much more competitive than the Metroid Primes becouse in Metroid you become that powerfull so no enemy can stand up againts you, THAT'S JUST STUPID! HALO FOREVER!!! But that doesn't means I dislike Metroid.

The Prime subseries is over, since the story revolved around Metroid Prime. But...I doubt Retro Studios will stop making first person Metroid games. Maybe a Hunter adaption?
