the first thing is the portrayal of king neptune by Billy Zane,this was a great role for him, he is so intense. The other is the heckler played by Billy bob thornton another class act. I nearly pissed my pants when he rips the ships lame ass comedian.
the movie is a must see only for these two actors, the rest I will have to agree was totally painfull

I totally agree. I thought Billy Zane gave a superb performance in this movie. But I thought he portrayed his character even better in the sequel "Titanic" in 1997. He had a much more screen time too. But I was gutted that Adam Sandler turned down the lead role.
