Thanks Penn for posting that. I was at that show. He is so damn good. What a lot of the comics today are missing are their own schtick. They don't develop their own persona. There was an interesting forum during the Comedy Festival a few years ago with Shecky, Carlin, Diller, Lewis, Crosby, and Berman where they spoke about playing vegas. Basically they viewed the catskills as career development and vegas as big time. Comics seem to not have that development phase anymore.

I once had a friend from Cape Breton, Nova Scotia who taught me a few Newfie jokes, and this was in Los Angeles 20 years ago. You'd think these jokes would be well known. Then again, Americans used to make fun of Okies (from Oklahoma) the same way and I don't know how well known these are any more..
