I only asked because it seems sometimes such a hard thing to do - to be civil and nice and interested in others and to ... care enough to make a connection; a reward in itself.

It is a simple thing, to go and buy some cardboard and a pen, etc.

Much easier to sincerely nice to all folk in ones environment including people we can't manage to understand.
