  • I had the great pleasure of listening to this man play in my cafe when he walked in off the street one day and asked if he could do so. A real and unique talent!

    Ronan

  • Love it, he is not an ego guy, love him for that. This song mixes well with The Gypsy song,Like Dj mixing. Yea gowon try it,and yea me spelling is Baaad on a key board.Great song.

  • Listening to this song makes me happy... Thank You!!

  • 0:53 it looked like he was humping the mic LOL gr8 song

  • grow up lol

  • lol

  • a good botle of wine and the songs from luka !!!

  • Christy sings in his own accent.....where the feck was this accent manufactured? Same place as the Lyric.

  • Contrived As Always. He'd a been a great folk artist.....but he had this notion that folk and traditional weren't an expressive enough vehicle. At least folk has Heart and Soul. This is Daydreams and Clichés.

  • Christy Moore's brother?

    Wonderful talents!

  • I saw Luka Bloom @ the Belly Up San Diego in the early 90's. I watched him play and play hard. He broke every string on his guitar. I've never seen guitar playing that aggressive, and I play Black Metal. He does not hold back. The lyrics are what they are. Just being able to shred like that and sing is fucking sick.

  • That's what I like to hear. Someone who plays one type of music but can appreciate and enjoy other types.

  • I didn't even like him when he was Barry Moore. Even the title "Acustic Motorbike" sounds made up. He's a nice guy, OK. But ... Sorry, can't listen to him at all .....!

  • His intentions are good but his lyrics are ... manufactured ... not real ... made up. That's his problem. I can't listen to him any (Barry) Moore!

  • Luka had a name for that guitar along with the white one he used to always tour with but i cant remember them now ...

  • I've always loved this song. It's very passionate and the guitar work is amazing. The music on that whole album is like that. But I've never seen the vid before. I dig it!

  • Superb voice, superb guitar player. Glad to remember that we, in Ireland, produced original artists before westlife, boyzone and other crap came on the scene. But I guess bellx1, Mundy, Damien Rice & Paddy Casey are flying the flag to some degree. Rock on Luka

  • not too sure about Luka.He is obviously an extremely well accomplished guitarist and singer but his music doesn't do it for me for some reason.Pity as he is so good with that guitar, it's just the melody and lyrics.not meaning to offend.

  • have you ever heard of the edge would give luka a run for his money

  • Love this song, sometimes stranger to a kiss.

  • Weird clip, but this song is definitely my number one favorite of all times. Only one guitar and one voice and yet, no other instrument could complement it. The strumming, the singing, the energy, pureness... just fantastic. I don't even fully understeand the lyrics, but I know there's no other song like this one... I'm short on words. Just pure and perfect.

  • oh I forgot some things: HUGE respect for the guitar playing technique, very very beautiful, bloody fast, flawless, with sublime rythm and Great dynamics.

  • A-girl,

I hope you like the song

    Albert

  • thank you very much for posting this video. Is there any chance of posting " I Need Love"?I last watched it on Irish tv, back in 1992.

  • WOW...I saw this video several years ago and loved it...Great energy..thx.

  • Does anyone know if the Amsterdam album has a DVD/video as well?

  • This is the 1st song I ever heard by Luka Bloom and I used to play it on every radio show I did in college from 88-91.

Just saw him play a year ago and he was awesome. I was in the back row and he offered 2 seats in the front for anyone in the back. He was awesome and did not disappoint!

  • Ths is the frst song I ever heard of his as well (also college radio)I wish someone would post his LL Cool J cover.
