I stumbled upon this. I have heard of Ms. Brooks but never observed her works. She was so pretty. Stormy Weather is played beautifully and the images, most of them, look as fresh as today 's, quality and fashion wise. I enjoyed. Thanks a lot. :D
The video is a Tribute to Louise Brooks the song is Stormy Weather. I don't see how it is labeled wrong. Maybe you should make some videos instead of incorrectly commenting videos. For your information my mother didn't raise me. You know you don't have to be jealous, try creating instead of being negative. XO Blackbird
@moonkaf I'm sorry for my false assumption and intemperate language. And you're right, I'm a free rider. I have no claim except any person's right not to be lied to. From here there seem to be three lies now, though of course I can't know for sure (nor would there be any point in asking): the video headline, your claim that you don't see the problem, and "XO." Doesn't matter. But I was annoyed after spending several minutes waiting to hear the promised Brooks. Jealousy seems an absurd guess.
@tapocketapocketa. It seems odd to me that everyone else had the intelligence to read the title. Louise was not a singer. The video title is Louise Brooks and the song used is Stormy Weather. There for no one lied, you just need to learn to read, sugar. I didn't label it "Louise Brooks Sings Stormy Weather". In fact no one sings it in this version. Get your facts straight before attacking people,Doll. XO Blackbird
@moonkaf Seems we've got different languages. Symbols (words, forms of title) get meaning from normal practice. Standard among song-posters and seekers (vast maj yr addressees) is: performer&title in headline. So that's the meaning. I've just looked&learned that the normal practice among tribute posters is different. Think of a tiny group putting up "free" signs near other people's stuff in public coatroom, meaning "Eat at Joe's." Never heard of Brooks; I was looking for sung versions.
An absolutely stunning woman and quite a cavalier as well. I recently bought Pandora's Box , she and the movie were brilliant. I've always dug the flapper look.
she did sing.....

Your mother raised someone who would mislabel a video. Right?

Wow! Louise Brooks AND Django Reinhardt on the same video. It can't get any better than that.

It is most assuredly Django Reinhardt. Eddie Lang never played amplified.
