BRAVO BRAVO BRAVO. BLUEOCEANO...I miss ray, but have great videos to watch and hear, and have seen them 4 times, and those mems are in my heart and soul...only once w/o ray...but I thought norda did a fantastic job, to me, the guys sound as good if not better than they ever have...they have mastered their masterpieces, and listening to them in 2011 is no less a thrill to me as it was in 1970, I start every morn with a couple of you tube vids of the guys..YOUR HARD WORK HERE IS APPRECIATED BY ME!
I have not been able to (wanted) go to a MB show since Ray left. They do not have the same sound or feel to me. This was an awesome tribute to Ray. Great job and he is missed by all of us fans.
Thank You Cloudja figured it was a health thing. So great to see Artists in this medium enjoying sucess through old age. Not the norm in the music business. That touring is really hard on people at any age let alone when one gets older. Glad I saw Ray and the others when I could at the Hollywood Bowl. Wonderful sucess story for them wish same for all of us.
This brought tears to my eyes. Ray Thomas is a wonderful spirit with incredible talent! Many thanks for your hard work and creativity in putting this together!
Mr. Thomas was an integral part of the Moody Blues. Norda is good, but will never replace Mr. Thomas. He was a true artist. His voice can never be replaced. I know that he is enjoying his retirement and I pray tht life is giving him all that he could wish for. Thank you Mr. Thomas for all the wonderful music. You have a gift tht can not be emulated.

ray has one of the most beautifull voices in modern pop.Shure Norda plays a mean flute ..grand her that ..but for my lady ..Twilight Time and legend where highlights in the Moodies show and willa lways be missed but bless norda
I miss Ray so much. Thanks for the wonderful tribute to him. I pray that retirement has been helpful to his health. The last couple times I saw them you could see the pain in his eyes as he was walking.
@grasspa Sam, as far as I have read, Graeme Edge started with the original El Riot and the Rebels before they disbanded in '64, as did John Lodge. John dropped out for a while to attend college, but came back in '67. Right around the same time thT Justin Hayward joined up.
i dont want 2 be rude not at al but where is ray dont understand me wrong but did he died???? in the early days the moody blues where with 5mebers im i right????? pleas send somting back im getting crazzy
Nope..he's alive and well..he retired a few years ago..he's taking it easy nowadays cooking and spending time in his garden...not the typical rock star image you'd think of, but he's happy and doing well
@bugibbab0y, my friend ,that is a matter of taste and gender preference...LOL!
I happen to think Ray was much better looking than Norda....again...Lol!!!
But seriously, to me, Norda is good. She is a very talented lady, but Ray Thomas was just well....irreplaceable....He had a stage presence that she cannot and does not try to emulate,. and for that I am thankful.
I just feel we lost something that was so precious when Ray retired in 2002. Thank you so for the video you sent to me!
@gamoodybluesfan We did loose something, Mr Thomases rare and wonderful voice. But he has gained a wealth in his retirement. Norda better looking tham Mr. Thomas? That is a matter of opinion! She will never have the "Presence" that he does.
Bravo on the effort ! Love and admiration personified for a truly worthy musician and on occasion , composer...contributor to the most inspiring band of all time.
Soaring isounds , with replacement Ms. Mullen close, close in matching him.
Listeners, please remember, this is a two tiered production...the Legend of a Mind as music and a collage of Ray in performance in several venues and presentations...melding into synchronization later in the piece.

Having spent many hours in my bedroom listening to this song and the Moody

pAST..VERY much appreciated. His talent and voice, plus his presence on
stage just makes my heart sing. I will watch this alot.

@limelight28570 Well said my friend! Well said! I am truly thankful that Norda does not try to replace Ray because it would never work!
I am so very glad that he is happy with his wife Lee and enjoying his retirement...I still cannot help but miss his presence so very much!
Ditto to your sentiment...Thank you Mr. Thomas for all of the wonderful music you have given us over the years!
