my top 4 after living in tampa for almost 3 years:

1. Go fishing!! Some of the best fishing in the world is done here. Tampa Bay is home to a zillion species of fish and birds. You can see manatee, dolphin, sharks, storks, etc. as well when you go fishing.

2. kayak. weedon island is a great place to start with a beautiful marke

3. Go camping. Camp in the keys and wake up next to the water. it's amazing.

4. you can do the beaches. Caddy's in st. petersburg beats clearwater though.

Food in Florida sucks. Its sad when the best pizza is found in the freezer section of the grocery store 5guys burgers n fries are great though so is tijuana flats for some chimichangas.. theres more to florida than jacksonville and its great weather all year round. the summer is great for fishing on the ocean. but ya, you'll sweat in the summer. but you get 80 degree winters, which is when we go camping. it's great here. great place to raise a family, if u look u can find good schools!
