In my opinion they got it all wrong with Muldoon in the movie, he was portrayed brilliantly by Bob, but killing him off like that was the wrong thing to do for me. He should have killed at least one raptor and made it off the island. Would have loved to see him getting stuck in the pipes too :)

Dude, he was my favorite character too! When the movie came out, I guess I was in 3rd grade or so. I dressed up as Muldoon for Halloween, but nobody knew who I was supposed to be.

i hated how the most badass character, an australian/african safari hunter who IS THE WARDEN FOR GODDAMN DINOSAUR JAIL does more poorly than the fucking annoying kids in this movie. i mean really, you can all be honest, i was rooting for the raptors in the kitchen scene too.

This this possibly the greatest tribute to the character EVER! I simply love this video, and the song is so fitting. Shame Robert Muldoon didn't have his own spin-off film after J.P (as we all know he didn't REALLY die!)

If you read the books you find out that he actually kills the raptor that attacked him with tube of toothpaste and then he steals a boat and tactical nukes the island with his fists. Did i mention he also no longer has a receding hair line... Muldoon is total badass

yeah man muldoon was my favorite character in the book...Mr. Spielberg why you gave muldoon such a crappy role in your movie...he is the guy who shot the T-Rex Mother...killing some raptors...Book= Original > Film!

Bob Peck died not long after this film so it would have been ludicrous if they had recast him and pretended he had survived for the sequel. He was a great character though and they should have used him more, don't understand how Spielberg didn't recognize that..

He died in 1999, 6 years after this Jarassic Park part 1. The sequel "The lost World" was in 1997 - he was still alive.
