Top video. I've got a Grundfos that packed up. As you said the impeller is full of gunk. Some of this looks like it's been welded on. How would you go about cleaning this stuff off? There is also a squeek when I move the impeller, but I'm assuming this is because it isn't lubricated. I'm hoping it isn't down to the same gunk that's around the impeller blades.
Thanks for the tips-Just about to take one off but after turning the isulating nuts off -water is still comming out of the center when open (could fill a bucket ) so it looks like I have to drain down the system
Very useful, should use the work troubleshoot in the title though to make it easier to find. People usually look to toubleshoot things rather than diagnose them.
