  • I want!!

  • 0:17 make you go back to reason ? you left reason when you can rewire it into everything ? really ?

  • @JSprayaEntertainment that wasn't me lol, that was someone else. People want hands on control of software these days man, maschine changed the game lol. But man...the key action on this thing....no go

  • @SoundsAndGear Maschine changed the game? It's a DJ TOY. Maschine is to music what Painting by Numbers is to art. My God! (Sorry - I meant 'My non-existant deity). It can't even change tempo in a song and that 'song mode' is pure shite.

  • @schragemusik if you say so sir lol, I'm not gonna argue with your opinion, it's obvious NI changed the game with Maschine, period.

  • @SoundsAndGear I agree with you. NI is a huge innovator in MIDI control devices and complete control over your software. For the Nektar, I'm bummed to hear the keys aren't very good.

  • @MrBrandonPeoples See...Brandon..this is what I mean. The key action is getting an F from everyone I know who touched it at namm. This in itself shows me that not enough attention was paid in the detailing of this controller. They could have left that"automated fader" off and added some other things. That Fadar is strictly eye candy...LOL.

  • @JSprayaEntertainment That was me, I have used Reason 9 years, but more recently I have stopped using it in favor of Maschine and Komplete. Integrated hands on control is the future for software instruments as far as Im concerned.

  • @Altruwest yea i got maschine a some NI plug ins too but those i use as vsti plug-ins in FL so im still free to rewire in ableton and reason if i want ya know ya kno , but i say ipads are the future of controllers now that Jazzmutants lemur is a APP

  • Interesting...love that you can browse through the patches and that sliders and faders are responsive....but why 12 pads? Com'on Man!

  • @MsBeatJunkie yeah, dunno whatup wit that

  • @MsBeatJunkie I know right...12 pads is "EPIC FAIL" Defined... did they even look at Kong...LOL. what numnuts decided to use 12 pads???? SMH...and I would even be able to overlook the sucky key action...but if you gonna make this for Reason... then you need to cover Kong... I hope this is just a prototype...

  • @KnockSquared another video explained why there are only 12. 16 would make the keyboard wider and cost more to make the body. Another option would be to decrease the pad size, which would be terrible. In the end, Kong is only 1 device in Reason. If you really need 16 pads, get a dedicated device, or spend over a grand on a controller that has everything you want, and full sized, good feeling pads.

  • @MrBrandonPeoples I understand what you mean... but getting a dedicated 16 pad device is defeating the purpose of the whole idea of this keyboard. I mean I am not the one saying its meant to be total reason control...the company is. With that said... Kong is one device indeed...but still a very important device. And maybe during design of the keyboard they should have figured in enough space for another row. I somehow got the feeling this was a mistake

  • Here we go with this 12 pad BS......KONG has 16 pads!

  • @charlieplatnum exactly lol

  • whoaaaa... due time some one invented this....cant wait for some other company to do it better

  • Now that looks dope. About time Propellerheads started releasing these kind of products.

  • @tasherredenajetic It's made by NEKTAR

  • @tasherredenajetic this is not made by propellerheads, it's made by Nektar, and the keys do not feel good at all, very light/cheap feeling

  • Looks nice. Now is it proprietary to Propellerhead products or will it have template and mapping for other DAWs/Plug-Ins? If the keys feel that bad I hope they catch it soon enough to change them before mass production.

  • @rOOk3mk I believe it can work with other software but I'll find out for sure

  • I love this!!!!

  • @ganjahm08 I really didn't like the feel of the keys

  • @SoundsAndGear So wait, how did the new mpk feel?!! Is it better than the novation sl mk 2 key bed?!

  • @prettdboy loved the feel of the new akai keybed
