I think the point here is that the electric stun device is clearly not working, that means the animals are being skinned alive. That certainly is cruel. Nobody wants to go out of their way to be cruel, do they? Eating meat is OK. But cruelty is not.

The animals are not conscious in any way after they have been stunned/bolted. They are spasaming, you can tell as any animal that is remotely aware will try and get on it's feet, not just jerk like that. There are two incidences of malpractice; one was a man kicking the head of a pig before it was stunned. the other was a man half-stunning a pig and then leaving it in distress.
What I find wholly unacceptable is the practice of making other animals watch. They obviously feel horrific fear.

If you search a bit then you will find that early civilization ( the oldest one ) used to be pure veg . Their life span was more than 100 yrs. Before six months there wasn't a single day that i didn't consumed meat. every day was a meat day for me (chicken meat).

The animals are not conscious in any way after they have been stunned/bolted. They are spasaming, you can tell as any animal that is remotely aware will try and get on it's feet, not just jerk like that. There are two incidences of malpractice; one was a man kicking the head of a pig before it was stunned. the other was a man half-stunning a pig and then leaving it in distress.
What I find wholly unacceptable is the practice of making other animals watch. They obviously feel horrific fear.

I don't see anything wrong with the way they are slaughtered, other than they should probably bring in the animals one by one, so that the other cow/pig/sheep don't have to see what's going to happen to them.

The slaughterhouse i worked in for 2 years was spotless clean...Guys were sacked for breaking hygiene regs.We were also humane.One animal at a time and painless (as possible) .....This place in the video is a total shit-house.Pigs lying all over the floor in blood and shit and god knows what else .. and I bet they pigs on the floor were sold out to butchers and the public...Scandalous.
