  • Thanks for the video post, however. It is good to see that some of these instruments are still located in public places rather than hidden away in private collections (which, as great as they are, still do not allow for sheer exposure to large numbers of people, plus the intimacy of being able to come up and touch something and put a coin in the slot, which comes with the good old penny arcades and funky tourist attractions).

  • I think it is playing "Smiles" in two different keys at once! Well, almost.

    For videos of how nice a Seeburg (CORRECT SPELLING!) H orchestrion can sound, just check out the videos posted by Youtube users ampicoab and dcramey. In fact, you don't even have to search their usernames, just plug "seeburg style h orchestrion" in the YT search box and enjoy!

    I'm sure if Marsh's employed the services of an orchestrion-friendly piano tuner twice a year, this instrument would sound GREAT!
