  • I recently discovered your videos. I was just wondering. How much training did you need before you started making pottery professionally? Am I making any sense?

  • It's all about knowing the limits of your clay and how the speed will affect your pot

  • my art teacher always tells me to slow down when bringing up the walls (actually she makes me slow down as soon as im done opening the pot) why does she tell me this? all the pottery vids i see on youtube are amazing potters who go full speed on the wheel

  • what kind of clay are you using?? :D

  • looks like "16" which is a cone six porcelain.

  • Its just fun to watch you work even though I know diddly squat about throwing anything. I just go to Walmart.

  • Then enjoy your walmartian life and its lack of soul, expression and art. Cheers!

  • I like yours better. Walmart has nothing on you.

  • very inspiring, thanks

  • that was great were do u order or get your clay from and what is your favorite type of clay to use plz send me a message or something thank you for the video

  • thanks Tim your an very good teacher, and I'm learnig so much from your video's I started at 64 yrs old am now 78 and still having fun

  • I would like to see some of your finished glazed pieces. Where can I view.

  • On my channel there is a link to my etsy site. also there is video titled some of my work which has finished examples. maybe not of a wiggle cup.

  • ahhhhhh coooool. kinda looks like something that i made. i kinda over worked whatever i was trying and it got all woky. was cool as. but tiny. need to try bigger. i love all ur stuff by the way. ur making me more obsessed.

  • obsess a way. its better than stalking a celeb.

  • haha yup. so i did make some wiggle cups and i really enjoy them. i can never get enough. thanks so much for all ur videos. they really help me.

  • Show us them when they are done.

  • Sorry Tim I didn't catch your technique, your head was in the way!!!

Regards from Debbie from Florida, USA

  • lol that is cool, mine end up like that by accident - I'd imagine they look great wood fired

  • I agree with Marihani. If my students saw this, they would wonder why I am so hard on them! "I could do that!" They say. They don't realize the control you have over the process. Tricky, Tim, very tricky!

  • I think you need to have a LOT of throwing experience before you try that kind of cup. Looks great, but SO hard to control!
