Thanks for the feedback guys i had no idea this video would get soo many views or comments. check out my new video (trust me its wayy better) and keep riding hard =]
@srt10taylor evo's are horrible for freeride to be honest, the only sliding they're MEANT to do (or good at doing) are predrifts and speedchecks. 9two five (or any twin tip) is the way to go fir freeride
I've got an evo with paris trucks, you keep your trucks pretty loose for low speed carving? Is the back truck as loose or stiffer than the front? I believe my trucks are too tight. It's super stable at higher speeds but not very turny going slow.
@MightyZarkon We'll the Evo was really designed for carving but that doesn't mean it's impossible, if you want to carve on the Evo try loosening your trucks. If you want it downhill, tighten them. I have mine in between and haven't gotten any speed wobbles before. If your having trouble turning. Try bending down and grabbing the board on the side, then lean. It helps as you gradually learn to do stand up hard turns or learn to slide. Hope this helps!
@AsianDamien speed wobbles are really easy to prevent you just have to have leg strength, if you get lazy in your legs your board takes over and does what it wants.
@MightyZarkon when you tune your trucks tune your front truck for how turney you want your board to be then stand on it and lean and if your back wheel lifts of the ground your back truck is too tight, just loosten it until when you lean all wheels stay on the ground. not any looser than that or your front wheels will lift. hope this helps.
@chriseam2013 Your suggestion makes total sense when I think about it. Thanks for the heads up. Was wondering does this apply to downhill as well when speeds are higher?
@NathanJWalter1997 the trucks don't really matter for sliding its just how they're tuned. and i learned how to slide on 75a sector nine wheels, 78a abec 11's should be fine, the key is your speed and the amount of lateral (sideways) force you can apply, the point of sliding is to lose traction so dont wory about it just let it happen.
@avizzle1 i love my evo iv'e had it since january. it is pretty easy to slide for me but all my friends say its hard idk i guess i'm just used to it. practice practice practice
@chriseam2013 im getting this board next month, but does concave and sturdiness play a great role in slideing cause i have a sector 9 green room ( short , flexy, no concave) and i find its hard to slide with cause i can never complete a full 180, will it be easier on this board??
@longboarderdx27 honestly the reason evo's slide well is how low they are and how you can put your feet up against the drops, good luck with your evo.
Why are you sliding on an Evo?

it's easy to do a 180 slide but riding switch on an evo is a pain and sliding out of switch is kinda hard but still kind of easy
chriseam2013 6 months ago
yo how did u switch stand up on the evo iam trying to do mine but i dont kno how
alexduong814 6 months ago
@alexduong814 you mean do a 180 stand up out of switch or just do a 180 stand up slide
chriseam2013 6 months ago
@chriseam2013 ik but how it is really har doing it on an evo

the evo is made for speed, if yuo want to do these slow freeride slides get a 9two5 its better for that.

on the evo, have you ever turned so sharp that the edge of your board scrapes the ground?
TheLeedgelodge 10 months ago
@TheLeedgelodge yes it has but that only happens if you keep tour truck on my like a thread, or if your fat lol

@MightyZarkon yeah same thing there especially because when your railing a corner you don't want to tilt your board up on 3 wheels
chriseam2013 6 months ago
do u think it would be harder to slide with randal trucks n 78a abec 11 wheels? cuzz i cant relly do stand up slides :/

@longboarderdx27 Yes this board is great for sliding, where the deck concaves down, it locks your feet it.
