I don't mind AT&T, but I only use voice and text, just WiFi for data. Coverage is alright for how I use it and SIM cards are really convenient for if you need to switch phones.

you know what i think is funny thats not their 3G Coverage map if you look online and compare it to the Mobile TV Service map that is a completely different network (Flo TV) it looks EXACTLY like that ... haha they really suck at their commertials when it comes to accurate data especially since their mobile tv coverage since thats what they are really looking at XD is better than Verizon's VCast Mobile TV coverage :)

hahaha, there's a map for that. Btw, I read somewhere that AT&T's exclusive deal with Apple doesn't expire until 2012, so it's going to be awhile until AT&T's customers will get a good smartphone other than iPhone.

my mom got AT&T and my sister got Verizon, they live in the same house.

I call my mom once a week and she has to walk out of the house to get signal or the call drops, she doesn't get my miss calls, I'm so tired of AT&T and my mom is just waiting for her contract to end so she can swtich to Verizon, why Verizon? because I call my sister and she can be inside the house and signal is just perfect. I had almost the same experience. My mom an sister both had verizon, but when they moved, they heard that verizon had poor coverage and ATT had the best out in Cali. So they switched. Well guess what? I moved out right after them, and I had coverage everywhere, and they always had dead zones. They couldnt wait to switch back. Now we are all on the nations most reliable network, with the best customer service, and we love it!

actually this is acurate. although this is only 3G, at&t in most spots has some weird 2.6 thingy thata ALMOST as fast. but when at&t says they have the fastest 3g. that is only in the 3g spots. but hey if i lived in hawaii i would definoutly have an iPhone. But where i live at&t is very spotty. Sprint would be my alternative (palm pre) but there is no sprint service here :( but on the bright side i have verizon service mapped out for like 100 miles in every direction. (not all 3G)

With verizon phones, you can't do anything with your phone while you are recieving a message. And at&t has the fastest 3g. Verizon's 3G is no better than EDGE. I have never had a problem with at&t voice coverage.

My fiancée and her mom got kicked off AT&T! it was back when we first started dating, I am on Verizon. we talked all the time (about 2hrs a day). One month later they got a letter saying within a month they would be kicked off. Because they were talking to much to Verizon customers, and it was costing them to much. Can you believe that! Stupid AT&T!!!

haha! where? well it actually happened, thats where. a month after we started dating her mom and her got kicked off their AT&T plan. Then when they tried to go to verizon, verizon actually gave them a hard time. asking them why they got kicked off another providers plan? then after explaining to verizon that they were talking to verizon customers, verizon let them on. in the long run it helped. then I could talk to her whenever I wanted. not just at night when it would use mins. true story.

AT&T is already GSM and Verizon using CDMA will have to pay a pretty penny to slowly transfer in order to roll out LTE. GSM is also much better just for the simple fact it uses sim cards that can be swapped from one device to another. AT&T also offers the Blackberry Bold and now the new Blackberry Bold 9700. AT&T also has simultanious voice and data which for those that have used it works wonders. Droid? WTH do I want with a Motorola Smarphone? I have had both and AT&T is the best in my opinion.
