  • I bought this guitar and it is great and all, but honestly you can get an american standard for only 100 dollars more and those are much higher quality for the price.

  • @ubacam I'm also looking to buy either one of those guitars. Do you really think the American Standard are worth a lot more? I feel like for those, you're basically paying 100 USD more for the hardshell case, strap, cable, etc. that comes with them. Subtract those out of the equation, you'd get these 2 guitars around the same price. Right? Or maybe since the Road Worn strats are beaten up, you're paying more for the appearance? Help me out :)

  • does it work for heavy rock stuff?

  • @javiXYX It has 3 single coil pickups so if your playing some heavy stuff you might want to swap out the bridge pickup with something a bit more aggressive like a Seymour Duncan JB Jr. that would make the guitar super versatile.

  • @NstuffMusic that's a good idea!

  • WAY to much REVERB doesn't let the true natural guitar tone shine thru!!!

  • it's kind of noisy guitar, with hum all the time nah??

  • @bankieyokeeplayboy normal single coil humming, the mic works as a compressor so the hum sounds as loud as the guitar on this video

  • @Magnitude2 i have one its absolutely wonderfully shaped around the neck :) and their is an olympic white model :) and if you hang your strap you can cover that busted ass little roadworn mark on the bottom right

  • Guitar :)

    Amp :(

  • This guitar is AWESOME!!!! i love it ( i have one )

  • Mark, I love your playing! It's a treat to watch these videos!

  • very good play guitar yeahhh !!! bravo j'adore

  • @Magnitude2 It's not chubby it's a C shape. We only have the Sunburst in stock but we could order the white one. $779.99 with gig bag at nstuffmusic. If you want to order let me know because you will need a coupon code to get that price. Thanks

  • Mr. Lucas is a superior virtuoso jazz guitarist. Jazz guitarists are the best. Just like John Mayer who is also an accomplished guitarist and in my opinion one of the best.

  • the pickups in this guitar are based on the texas specials not the 69 pickups, the only real difference is the texas specials use metal bobbins as opposed to plastic, but ironicly both have an almost identical sound, work really well to give that texas blues sound,

  • @NstuffMusic do you like the tex-mex pickups in this guitar? i have some on order and alot of ppl say that they sound alot like the texas specials. i just want a true pro shops opinion

  • @MrTheCircle The Texas Specials seemed just a bit beefier to me than the Tex Mex's. Both had a nice glassy top end and a nice mid range punch.

  • @NstuffMusic alright, thanks. just what i needed to know

  • What you think about the Classic Player '60?! :) I want to buy it... :)

  • @Kewinko Cool guitar 12" radius, medium jumbo frets, 69 pickups! $714.99 at nstuffmusic

  • @NstuffMusic

These road worn strats have 69 pickups? I read the specs and it stated tex mex pickups. Did Fender change the pickups?

  • Hi, im wondering whether or not a mexican made strat is worth it.

  • @soljin3 They are really nice!! $779.00 at nstuffmusic

  • @NstuffMusic hey i'm just wondering if this strat is a professional standard guitar, evn though it is mexican made?

  • @dfsk96 They are definitely pro quality guitars.

  • @NstuffMusic ok thank you :), i just wanted to know because i have 1000 to spend and it is between this and the american standard, but i think i prefer this plus it looks awesome!

  • @soljin3 They are worth it when set up right. Many mexican fenders and even japan fenders are nicer in both tone and quality than american made ones.

  • @68mustangcoupe1 that's cuz there's no quality control in asian and mexican ones. an american strat is just that. they are all the same...so i would reccomend to anyone wanting to buy one play it first

  • @desr2395 Depends what you buy and what year it was made. I've had numerous non american fenders that were of MUCH higher quality than my americans. Granted some are bad. Its like every guitar now days... Look at it good and play it before you buy it. Its like Gibsons for me.. I haven't owned anything from them after 2003 that was good quality except custom shop

  • Die hab ich :D

  • THIS IS GUITAR FOR STARTS?

  • @SuperDsffdsf No it´s not. This guitar is around the 800-1000 dollars and a starter guitar is around the 100-200 dollars.

  • @SuperDsffdsf no x)

  • THERY THERY THERY COOL REVIEW YOU ARE AMAZING PLAYER THANK YOU NO ONE CAN SAY SOMETHING BAD ON FENDER HA HA !

  • Put a black pickgaurd on it, and you would have an SRV guitar.

  • I wanna get one!!! haha i should start working, now.

    Amazing Review, cool.

  • Lots of hum

  • @tothatextent Single coils hum, humbuckers do not that is why the name Hum is at the begining, my guitar is HSS set up Humbucker bridge and the 2 single coils centre and neck.

  • is it a fender hot rod deville

  • what are the settings on the amp? the sound is AMAZING

  • good demo but the pick ups on this fender start there fender TEXMEX pick up and they sound real good
