@BobbieD94 the main mistake you made was updating: Pirate versions allways get detected if the program isn't cracked.

Hey, i just finished downloading the torrent and i burned it onto a DVD-R, after that i tried to boot it from the disc but it went straight to my windows vista, why is that? Then i check whats on the dvd and it was the folder not the actually iso file, but the folder contains the iso file, how can i just burn the iso file onto the dvd?

@oliverrs15 your probably burning the files to disk too fast, select the lowest setting there is because it wont read the files correctly otherwise.

both times I used they specifically ask you to chose between "86" which is for 32 bit system and "64" which is for .... ummm 64 bits. It should work fine. After installing when it asks for Key just leave blank and hit enter because its already preactivated. Good Luck!

acapon everything went fine right up until i started the installation.. its coming up with an error that reads

@oliverrs15 you have to delete the old partition, by clicking the custom installation option, not the upgrade, then format you hardisk and then select it to install windows on there.

@wrayc your not meant to press anything, when you install it it will automaticly start and restart your pc, just leave it for a good 20 minutes after everything else has finished (i.e) expanding files. DO NOT PRESS any keys, let it do its business.

issue not software related. It was actually hardware related, getting stuck rebooting etc. This has been ongoing problem with this computer (HP PC) before this. I finally was able to get win 7 up and running ONCE. After restarting I became again stuck in reboot. refused to boot from harddrive or cd-rom. occasionally it would start to boot then say "windows is writing files" and gets stuck there. Again win 7 successfully set up I'm just locked out. I installed on 2 other computers,

one of the computers I installed on was only 512mb. I had to edit the iso but it works fine. The HP PC I ended up installing Ubuntu which works fine. It would accept the ubunto but still refuses to boot windows from HDD or cd-rom. It still has win 7installed, i'm just locked out.
