I hate the new look on my You Tube channel. I tried it and don't want it. So Google shouldn't be forcing us to use such a crappy setup on our channels. And in March we all will be going to this crappy ass set up.

While I don't particularly like it I can accept the changes outside of my You Tube channel. The changes were too drastic. And I decided not to complain about any changes made on Facebook after this mess.

Honestly, I kind of like it. I know people generally resist change, but I realize I've started heading over to YouTube more and more recently as a 'visit once or twice a day' site. I don't like is that on this version. You can't tell if you had watched a video title already especially useful if you are watching a group of related videos. On the previous version the title would turn purple if you had watched it or clicked on it already ( purple ). I liked that because a lot of times if I am backtracking I can be certain that' Im not wasting time clicking on a vid I have already seen. Anyways it was a good way to keep track.

I've already sent feedback asking for the option to change back to the older Youtube layout, because even though I was willing to give this layout a chance, after 10 minutes of trying to find the videos i had planned to watch later, I'm finding my patience running thin. I find the new layout much too cramped and the google+/facebook connect buttons are (IMO) stupid and a waste of space. Open up the browser developer tools, this is done like this:

In Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + K (Win) | Cmd + Shift + K (Mac)

The new layout sucks because I came to YouTube, not FACEBOOK. Why did they try to make YouTube work like Facebook's stupid feed, with the stupid menu bar on the left, just STOP IT. As you said, I prefer the Subscription view. I subscribe to people like thunderf00t that like videos that are relevant to his channel. I find this like-stream of videos really useful.

@wowcrendor Yea it sucks. But there's a way around it. Go to your subscriptions and check "subscribe to uploads only" and it will only show your subscriptions uploaded content. Now for your friends, you need to go to settings and "Shared" and then unselect everything that's shared between friends. This way only uploads will show on the main subscriptions list and you can go check on each subscriber if you want to see their entire activity feed. Time consuming to set up, but worth it.

Youtube is known for testing a lot of different homepages. So maybe you are in Test A and I'm in Test B. I am using the Dutch language setting btw.
