@Cliner98 Very good point! Paul never met Jesus, and since he only heard a voice, how could he possibly know it was Jesus talking to him? Yet based on this flimsey evidence, Paul went on to trash the Law, the Sabbath, and circumcision. He did away with Judaism. Jesus would have turned over in his grave if it were possible.
@lipoicacid I don't think so. The historical timing is not right. However, I think Paul was a con-man who bilked people with his gospel. He was just like these TV evangelists today who get rich selling Jesus. He probably bought a villa in Spain and lived in luxury when he made enough money.
In one version they STOOD speechless, in another they all fall to the ground.
Notice, that with each retelling the story is improved with more detail. Any police detective will tell you that's a sure sign of a lie. That's why police have witnesses tell a story several times, to see if they elaborate on the lie.
@Cliner98 Perhaps there is a reason for Jesus speaking such contradictions, and you missed the reason?

@Cliner98 It's a wonder why any sane person would be a Christian.

Paul was most likely Josephus.
