  • Where can you buy one of those? :D

  • i realy want you to make it on lego digital desighner so i can buy it ULTAMITE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @Rillester you could replace the motors with extra-large motors to boost power. tank is great!!

  • make a cannon and in my book its a true tank

  • now make a mammoth tank.

  • can i have the instructions please?? I love your subtractor!! :)

  • That ia amazing good on you

  • woooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooow!!!

  • nice

  • I d buy it for 50 bucks if you add a frame

  • Cool idea.

  • heavy tank IS-7

  • awesome and boring at the same time... awesoring!

  • @Rillester how many track links did you use?

  • hey where did u buy this kit..

  • @Mdisastor you mean road wheels?

  • @Rillester could you please tell me what parts you used?

    Greatings Menno.

  • could you please tell me what parts you used?

  • very well done and though out. i love it

  • its running not very smooth

  • dude the remote is just as awesome as the tank

  • You might want to raise that rear gear off the ground to prevent it slamming into the ground when you're traversing off an obstacle. If you look at real tanks, there are two main cogs on each side of the tank: one at the front, and one at the back. Either one of these can be the drive gear, depending on where the engine is. These cogs rarely touch the ground, because the (usually smaller) suspension wheels between those two cogs on each side are the ones that dampen the ride.

  • that is is the awesomest tank ever !

  • What exactly is the advantage of the subtractor mechanism? Seems like a lot of gear losses and complexity just to change the controls a little. Wouldn't it be a lot more efficient to just control each track independently?

  • try to built it with xl motors

  • very good =)

  • you made a awesome tank!!!

    i like it

  • Did anyone see the spare motor

  • ddue thats suspension is AWSOME!!!!!

  • i think that you should make it look loke some real tank then a stronger motor for the extra weight

  • NOW PUT NXT IN IT!!!!!!

    THUMBS UP!

  • your clever to do it so it can move but its ugly

  • daaam!! that is an EXTREMLY anoing sound :P

  • wheres the big gun?!?!

  • XL MOTORS, as a Pro techinc builder, i suggest that u use srtonger motors, cause those m motors are screaming in agony....

  • @paisis123

They are screaming because they are not charged, but stronger motors would be nice

  • @Rillester Where have you heard of charged motors? How can a motor be charged?

  • @maddfix

hehe my mistake it should be battery :)

  • @Rillester :)

  • @Rillester Anyway, congrats for your work! I wish more people would build stuff.....and discover stuff....

  • 3rd time watch fucking awesome

  • that is so FUCKING AWESOME!!!!!!

  • I have frame and wheels. Where do I get motor and remote??

  • @nonoobs113

    at brinklinkdotcom

  • @Rillester

    ok thanks.

  • Uhh where did you get the tank treads? I dont have a kit with any treads

  • COOL!! COOL!!

  • @Warcrafter3000

    at brinklinkdotcom

  • instructions ????

    but very nice tank

  • Where did you get the tank tread from?

  • that thing thing is sick! i mean that in a good way!

  • This is the kinda win i would love to make if i had the godamn PARTS! I mean like what the hell lego? The price of the indivitual tread pieces is about 90cents PER PIECE! The cost of the plastic is about 1-1.5 cents so thats an 850% markup on injection molded plastic that probably reads 'made in china' on each and every piece.

  • @MisterLEM0NS on bricklink you get the tread pieces for c. 10 cents pp

  • fantastic suspenshion

  • This tank+ lego flamethrower+ long range marble shooting gun+ wireless onboard camera= Ultimate vehicle

  • That is the coolest track system I've ever seen. Nice job with the suspension. I see you used dual differential drive, but it would be better just to use one motor on each track. Dual differential drive gets the most power when it's turning and driving at the same time, but tanks (including yours) typically only turn or drive separately. As it is you use 1 motor at a time, but with a simpler drive you'd be able to use both more often.

  • Will you be making a faster version of this? I'd love to see something so realistic go over ramps and ledges xD

  • You shuld make à cannon turer for it

  • THAT IS SICK! does it come with a set?

  • You just made another army vehicle. Say hello to boot camp.XD but seriously thats a.w.e.s.o.m.e

  • now you will do a T-34 russian tank :D

  • hvor mye last kan den bære i kg?

  • where did you get those caterpillar tracks ? im intrested in buying some

  • suspension could be better, maybe add a little damping with like a rubber band mechanism, over all its pretty good though

  • holy shit, this is a mazing, u can make a tank out of this!!!!

  • nice tank ... i am interested in the track used. Where can I buy the tracks (just the tracks )?

  • @omkarkarve I think a good deal of them came from the Star Wars TIE Tank. The TIE Tank comes with at least 300 track links

  • nice tank ... i am interested in the track used. Where can I buy the tracks (just the tracks )?

  • Now you have the lego prototype build it in real ; )

maybe not 1:1 scale but try it with some metal or steel its much cooler then lego and also at a turret but not for marbles cause thats boring but make one for darts : )

    Good luck

  • nice tank

  • You should go lipo. :D

  • I have a nicely Geared down Lego King tiger that can climb really steep hills, the only problem is that the tracks break apart.

  • Incredible!!! The wheels can go higher or lower to match the terrain!!! Genius!

  • why is there a not-used motor on the tank?

p.s., the tank itself is very cool

  • @MrTechnic4life

    thats for the turret

  • i wish i knew how to make one :/

  • @Bakudude6 Hey, i just wana say that when rc trucks, cars, tanks and so on is slow they get better grip on the ground and they can climb up higher hills. It has with the gear to do with, just ask rillester i think he is agree with me. Just a tip.

  • How did you get the tracks?

  • @Bakudude6 who cares if its slow its supposed to be slow its a tank

  • @CarbonFingerboards lol, the Abrahms tank is pretty fast

  • this one is like one of the army bomb disable robot :) nice mechanism

  • it rocks!

  • wtf is a subtractor wtf

  • frickin sweet!

  • Thats awesome, if Lego sold it I would buy it!

  • i have the exact same treads

  • it looks cool nice job were did you get the idea for this

  • which wheels are the power going to?

  • where can you get that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @trains991 he made it

  • make instructions please i beg you please if i make a video on it once you make a video on how to make it ill give you 85% credit

  • i like it because it can take the heavy battery pack with it in the climb

  • make the gunner next

  • nice job!

  • amazing

  • lots of torque

  • can you send me instructions?

  • Yes but very strong

  • @Rillester PWNED

  • that was my first concern as soon as i saw the two motors- what about the minimal but significant speed difference between the two, resulting in gradual left or right movement. now i can see there's two diffs involved but i dont see how it all fits together. is there a tutorial on how to build this setup?

  • rillester, notice you have 2 differentials in the drive train. are you using two independant motors to drive each track or is there more to it. how do the differentials fit into it?

  • One motor is for forward / backward

and another for left / right

  • @hiddengen Thanks for info regarding that, found a few great pictures as you said, cheers:-)

  • @hiddengen ops, was suppose to be @hotmatch6 instead. Sorry for the typo^^

  • kick ass

  • wow man! perfectos! looks like the patrol and demolition tanks of the terminator movies!

    awesome work!!!

  • would you sell it and for how much

  • im going to make a turret for my lego moterized bulldozer becouse i dont feel like taking it apart :P

  • man i have some seriously great ideas, but i just dont have the right stuff for it =(

  • thats EPIC! you've got some talent, thats for sure...now just add the rest of the tank lol seriously

  • cool mechanism

  • Try to use chain tensioners, then you have more gripp!!!

    Goodluck!!!

  • drive the tank just forward or left and right too?

  • awesome. u shud make a frame then add details to it

  • use the bigger motors they are more powerfull ;)

  • @samturner123

    no.. there geard down.

  • YES! wich makes it more powerfull!! :@

  • by a tiny bit.. and you would have to make it bigger....

  • move parts around, design it differently. i do this stuff al the time and i can fit big motors in everthing! :)

  • well it wont make much of a differece.... It would be slower.

  • but more powerfull, thats wot ya need. end of

  • try to decrease the gear ratio...and increase the speed of motors ;)

  • maybe a booster will make it even faster??

    cool

  • lego technic for big boys

  • you need to add the features like the turret and the cock pit...that would make your allready awsome tank a ton better....

  • awsome dude but could u please do a tutorial on how to build it please couse i would really wanna build one:D

  • can you make a instruktion vor this? its cool

  • why did you use conveyor belts instead of actual tracks

  • Because i dont have any conveyor belts

  • are you gonna make a how to vid.

  • Is that how real tanks work?

  • Nope

  • It has one motor that drives both tracks trough a differential, and then brakes one track to turn

  • it needs a marble gun attacched to it......

  • awsome and nice suspension

  • Awesome!! :3

  • can you do a "how to" for the subtractor drive... my simple twin motor burns up batteries... Slick tank.. I only wish I had that many large gears for guide wheels!

  • bacisily tells you the potental of real tanks

  • keep up work you could start lego tanks all that is missing is you need to make it fire

  • Comment removed

  • Very nice!

The suspension along with the layout of the tank is impressive. Especially that subtractor :P

  • Comment removed

  • MAN!!!! I just can´t find words for it because its sooo awesomely cool
