I have Qosmio F50-125. It's amazing, everything works on high, only GTA4 runs on medium. But from 2 weeks I have heating problem. It gets so hot that it shuts down. If I start a more complex game, like Oblivion, pro evolution 10, 10-15 minuts and it shuts down. And it was not like that 2-3 months ago. Please can someone help?

I also have this problem in my HP, shut down by itself after playing some games. What you should do is clean the area of the fan and remove the dust in this section. When I remove the dust its like 3cm thick.

@mAs7eRaZ I have exactly the same problem mate. You might have fixed the problem by now since it has been 8 months haha. I suggest typing 'qosmio f50 overheating' into google if you haven't. It seems to be a recurring problem with the series.

@ddrumdude it's fixed now... Luckaly I still have insurance and I send it for check... The Video Fan didn't work... they cleaned and fixed it.. Hope it will survive more this time cause it will be very annoying to have to fix my video fan every year.... The fan position is awful! + from the bottom there is a fan sucking cold air... how can it suck such air from the bottom?!!? Specially so close to the video fan which spreads hot air..... The fan design is awful! Otherwise the laptop is ok..

thanks for wasting everyone's time by showing us the same stuff you'd see on their website. why don't you play Crysis or maybe show us how thick and bulky the damn thing is.

i used to say that Mac sucks, but then I actually used a MacBook Pro. I'd say that if you want to play crysis on full specs, upgrade your desktop with about 1600 buck worth of gear from tigerdirect b/c there is no such thing as a desktop replacement. these run hot as hell, weight a ton, and get terrible battery life... so what's the point. i say, either get a macbook pro or a real desktop PC (or both) and forget about desktop replacement laptops because you're not going to find one

the design is the same

and the glossy keyboard takes the piss sometimes

i mean the unit is great but the whole model gets fingerprints on it really easily and just ruins it

but its good.

im 13 and got it for my bday and its a great machine for the money

its really good

the lines, design and especially the sound!!

and also the keyboard is kinda annoying? probably

but i like it, and my H button popped out often

well my HD.. i hvnt actually pay attention to it lol. i can probably use it for programming and those sort of things

oh well if u want to use the laptop for gaming, then HD's probably not useful

Who care about quad HD processor.. me not :) I think ill get same model(F50-108) as MaxBlack have coz i preffer better GPU for gaming!I dont think that HD processor will be useful for most users.. anyway the price is big difference also without it!

Yeah..I think HD processor is useless at least for me...the 9700M GTS is much better, but I can not find any newer drivers for it:-(....Btw I will upload Crysis Warhead video today...Thx for comments

Yeah...the F50/AV530 is also very good...mine cost 1500US. But I dont have the toshiba Quad HD processor.
