Vanitas = split off darkness of Ventus's heart, creating two unstable halves of pure darkness and pure light.

Ventus's remaining heart fragment took refuge in Sora's body, so Sora technically had an extra half of an heart (pure light) leading to his abnormally strong heart power.

When Sora released his heart to release Kiari's, he also released Ventus's, which created a "nobody" with slightly more of a heart than the others. Sora was just a heart until they merged.

Incorrect. When Ven sees that his heart is fractured (begining of the game), another heart offers its help to him. That heart is none other than Sora´s. Vanitas didn´t have face until the final battle against Ventus on the Keyblade Graveyard. How did he obtained Sora´s face then? Easy... He is a part of Ven after all, so its not strange that some traits of Sora ended up on him.

When Ventus had the darkness of his heart taken away and he was taken to Destiny Islands, the newborn heart that filled the missing part is Sora's, and because Vanitas was a humanoid Unversed, he didn't have a face, but when Sora's heart merged with Ventus, it also merged with Vanitas because of his connection with Ventus. That's why you hear 2 people say Let's open the door in that see. One is Ventus, the other is Vanitas.

i think the kingdom keys in the X - blade are sora's kingdom key, and mickey's kingdom key d, and they were created after the X-blade's destruction in birth by sleep so, 1 part got into the realm of darkness and another in the realm of light and sora holds the light part of the X-blade and mickey holds the dark one, this is just my theory. what do you think, please reply.

@jmw10891 Vanitas (this guy) is a dark clone of Ventus, the main character in Birth By Sleep. Master Xehanort, the old creepy guy and the main villian, used to be Ventus' old master. Ventus was too weak and light to be Xehanort's apprentice, so Xehanort extracted Ventus' heart of his darkness, and Vanitas was born, resulting in Ventus losing his memories and some emotions.

Vanitas looks like Sora because Sora filled in Ventus' broken heart, resulting in Vanitas looking like that person.
