The only reason why Resetti was made was because one of the producers got sick & tired of Nintendo pressing the Power button one the console everytime they would beta test a game. So the maker of this games snuck in Resetti to get revenge on Nintendo. I'm pretty sure Nintendo's laughing right now about how many people got butthurt when they encountered Resetti on Animal Crossing.

Nope. If you keep resetting, he'll pretend to though. It goes to a black screen for a few seconds, but then it fades back in and he says he was just messing with you to teach you a lesson.

If you reset a certain amount of times, Mr. Resetti will eventually get mad enough to get up in your face like that. I don't remember exactly how many, but it's probably 6-7 times.
