@MasterBitting If you get caught by Akuma's ultra, it's because youre either a noob, or the akuma player is just that good. yes it's unblockable but also the easiest ultra to avoid. The damage it gives compensates for its difficulty

Because Akuma is an asshole and would rape Abel for it. Just cause he can roll, doesn't mean he always should. This game isn't too balanced anyhow. People think that just because lower tiers can win, it's balanced. Guess what, some guy with Q beat a pro Akuma player in SF3, does that make it balanced now? Fuck no.

@felipebrasil5 because rolling is dangerous. if u roll, akuma can just raging demon u and u can do nothing about it cause ur rolling. not to mention the possibility of getting dragon punched like hell. also if u roll while he is in grabbing range he can just throw u right out of the roll animation.

A really good video.  Though, it shows the lopsidedness of the game. The person playing Akuma was excellent whereas the person playing Abel was... okay. Yet Abel still punished Akuma a number of times. Because? He's just that cheap of a character.

Cheap? Hardly. The moment he whiffs his Change of Direction (qcf+p), he's entirely open to a counter since there's an extremely large lag between the next part of the move (f+p, think Karin from Alpha 3). His roll? He can be grabbed in the middle of the roll animation.

You also have to keep in mind that Akuma has the WORST defense in the game, which means if he gets punished, he'll take a heck of a lot of damage.

You clearly don't know your Street Fighter 4.
