This was the best intro for F1 however i do like the current one. I am glad that F1 is back on the BBC though because there are no adverts but i do like the ITV intros better as they changed them every 3 years, whereas now its back on the BBC its going to be the same forever because if they replace "The Chain" lots of people will moan.

The only people I've known who say that ITV is better are those who are too young to remember BBC and started watching after ITV took over.

Pretty much everyone else I know who watched F1 back when BBC had it said that the BBC intro's were superior to anything ITV managed. The JK one during 97-00 was as good as it got for ITV.

I thought that the BBC was one of the only broadcasters in the UK that are actually making money, apart from Channel 4 I think it is that are also doing quite well. This is partly (for the BBC) due to the fact they have a "guaranteed" future as it were with the TV Liscence bringing in money.

Can't wait until next year though, no adverts and the possibility that it will be in HD on BBC HD.

Rome wasn't built in a day. Even when Schumi jumped shipped to ferrari, it took him a couple of years to churn out a good car and get the team upto brawn levels of efficiency.
