That's a shame. - I like the original Helloween one, and I liked Kiskes acoustic version that appeared on "past in different ways", it might be my age, or how psyched I was about hearing a new version of it, but I liked the acoustic one more. - And what I hoped they would do with it, is 'power up' the new version, so you'd get this heavier, slowed beaten metal copy of the song. But that's just my idea. - As long as they keep playing whatever version, I'll always like it :)
