I must say, glam isn't really worth calling a genre it's more an image, all the bands play regular heavy/speed metal or hard rock, the only difference is their image. Personally I like Vains of Jenna, but their new vocalist doesn't really appeal to me.

Compare them to, say Crashdiet which is another modern glam band and you can clearly hear the differences.

Secondly, his voice is NOT dirtier than any classic ones. Have you ever heard of Phil Lewis, Tom Keifer, or Blackie Lawless? I guess not. Now that's some sleazy dirty vocals. This guy sounds like some 15 year old trying to sound cool.
