  • Just had to let you know I got a 9 week old kelpie border collie x , on the 2nd day i introduced him to the chickens and he did exactly the same as your dog in this vid! Its in the genes alright! Awesome dogs.

  • @MrKh76 :Sorry but I can't help for you. In this video the dog works instinctive. She doesn't got any instruction. This is the herding instinct.

    I think you can't learn from a video or a webpage, the herding training because it's very complex. You need a professional trainer, and lot's of work and time...The training method is different for every dogs, and the most important is the "raw material" that is the WORKING kelpie! ;-)
