Although not labeled as such, I do believe I have one of those Phelps tapes. I'm starting to upload it now as "1986-1987 jingles and IDs." That one is almost all legal IDs, and it covers most of the U.S. It's very good!
I have two tapes of Eastern U.S. jingles and IDs that are just labeled "Skimmer 89" and Skimmer 91." That's where these are coming from. I don't know the original recorder or editor.
I'm glad you liked it. There's plenty more uploaded and plenty more where that came from. I'm not a fan of the audio quality loss on Windows Movie Maker, though!
1): They were from the late 80s (one of the best eras from a radio production standpoint).
2): I'm a self-proclaimed jingle junkie.
BTW: Did this composite come from Plash Phelps? He did a series of radio ID tapes called "The United States Of Radio" that was a snapshot of radio IDs from all over the US.

the old cbs-fm jingles bring back a lot of memories. I was 5 years old then and my dad played 101.1 all the time in the car.

I've loved it primarily for 2 reasons:
1): They were from the late 80s (one of the best eras from a radio production standpoint).
2): I'm a self-proclaimed jingle junkie.
BTW: Did this composite come from Plash Phelps? He did a series of radio ID tapes called "The United States Of Radio" that was a snapshot of radio IDs from all over the US.
