Yes... saw these guys at the I Beam.. in the 80's fantastic show.. what a night that turned out to be.. Had to be there to understand... cant believe it was that long ago.
@austinsurfmore67 Phil told me he grew up in Lincoln, but whatever. I was your lighting director at the I-Beam from '87 to '91, and Phil was a close friend. He was the doorman at the Beam when not performing there. Buck and the Boys performed at the I-Beam on the following dates: 1/27/89- opened for The Del Rubio Triplets; 4/1/89- opened for the Limbomaniacs; 6/9/89- headliner; 9/11/89- headliner; 12/8/89- opened for Chris Isaak; 4/20/90- headliner; 5/4/90- "Save the I-Beam" benefit show.
'Bend Over And Let Me Drive' has been on permanent rotation in my house for more than 20 years. I used to see those guys at shows in SF, but I regret we never did a show together. RIP PHIL, a great showman.
Yeah, Buck was SO funny. My sister lived in Lincoln, NE and was good friends with Phil (Buck), Hector and Stinky, also Phil's sister Megan. SOMEWHERE I have a VHS of a show they did at The Drumstick in Lincoln - I'll have to find that and post it. Still have my pink Buck Naked T-shirt. They came here to Cincy and played a gig. I have a picture of Buck and I here on my desk , taken at my sisters house - he is wearing his ABBA T-shirt. I remember we partied until 6 a.m. that night - FUN TIMES!

The one and only time I saw these guys was at a show put on by KOME/SJSU at municipal stadium.
They did a hilariously X rated version of the Green Acres theme song! I never did follow up on the band (i thought they were a fluke) until I read about Bucks' passing. Damn.

Buck Rocked, I saw every show in Santa Cruz, CA in the late 80's early 90's, it was always a nasty show, the lyrics, the way he would wipe his sweat and toss it at the women who would try to get a look under his toilet bowl plunger, man they where bad dudes. Awesome rockabilly. Buck was murdered in Golden Gate park for something stupid, too sad.
i like the gal trying to peek under bucks guitar

@longrangeskeeter He was murdered by an insane cab driver who was mad that Buck's dog was chasing pigeons, so he shot Buck.
