Thank you so much for saving this beautiful animal. I've been watching videos on you tube about dog fighting and can not beleive that people could do this to an innocent animal. I'm trying to find a way to help but haven't gotten there yet other than donating a bit of money. Noticed how it takes one asshole to abuse and then abandon a dog, and then it takes the biggest efforts of an entire community to save him and clean up the asshole's mess ? Now multiply this by 6 million abused and abandonned dogs yearly... impossible. Nico is one lucky dog! Bless all involved. So wish we could save them all.

I live on jber airforce base and they do not allow pitbulls because alot of people think they are to aggressive. :( but they are not aggressive if they are tought at young ages to be nice? So I loved that story about nico!! Plus my mom rescued a dog from a person who was treating him badly
and for all those that say pitbulls should be killed , heres a great example of what these dogs are actually like when they have the right care , love and attention .

If you want to man up and fight get in the damn ring your self. Would you be able to share the name of the medication used on his ear tumor? I'm a pet rat enthusiast and a rat rescue volunteer; one of their biggest hardships, like Nico, is cancer. I lost my best friend to it and if I could bring this medication to the attention of the rat community maybe we can apply it to our small friends to save lives.
Bless you for taking in a sweet guy in need. If only there were more humans willing to carry someone else's baggage for a while.
